Ways to monetize a directory site

Hi warriors,

I have a directory site that gets 150 visitors a day but I can't seem to find a way to monetize the traffic. I have tried adsense and various affiliate offers but to date I have only earned a few dollars.

The site is a manual approval free listing site.

Much of the traffic comes from India, presumably people doing link building for seo companies. I don't want to get into the paid link business. I've tried other seo products, freebies, online dating but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions on what kind of offers may appeal to this kind of traffic?

    The quality of directory traffic is usually quite low so I would not expect too much money from single directory. One way how to earn something this way may be setting up tens of niche directories to multiply the traffic and profit from adsense, pey-per-view advertising or from some more aggressive but profitable advertising formats like full-page ads or popups.

    Hi,

    That amount of traffics is not enough to earn much in adsense or any other ads. However, you can increase your traffics by optimizing the categories, etc.

    I've tried other seo products, freebies, online dating but nothing seems to work.

    This kind of products always work if you know and focus on what you are doing. Try to setup a site that focus on a certain products or niche just like online dating.
