How many hours per day do you work on IM

Q. How many hours do you work on IM and do you work everyday?

Thanks in advance,

-h

My answer:
When I started using the Internet to try and make money I used to work about 16 hours per day. I also worked everyday. Now after some time has passed and things have gotten a lot easier for me, I only have to work about 2 hours per day and 6 days per week.

Also the nature of the task involved have changed drastically.

In the beginning I spent the majority of my time building websites with contact forms and publishing them. The remainder of my work time was spent using the post office and sourcing items that I could sell. Then once affiliate programs, SEO, drop shipping and site building tools came along, I spent the majority of my time optimizing and looking for more affiliate programs to try. Now, the time I spend is mainly administrative.

I don't know, but let's just say until recently I was working as soon as I woke up and I'd go to sleep when I was tired.

I've actually started going for a 2 hour sit in the pool before work every day otherwise my eyes get wonky and I can't see the screen. Somehow I still manage to be up at 4.16am now.

I sure hope it works out for you, I know how that "wonky" feeling goes. It got so bad for me that I actually developed insomnia at one point, when I closed by eyes I saw blue monitor screens and that bothered me intensely.

I had to learn to get much more efficient so I had to look at that monitor less and then magically, Windows 3.x came out and I could finally get a nice soothing color theme going instead of the high contrast I was forced to use in my DOS app's.

It was SLEEPY TIME from then on.....woot!

0 hours a day 'work' for me cos it never feels like work! It is just an enjoyment - if it wasn't I wouldn't be doing it! ;-) Oh, and I outsource alot too - which is something I enjoy doing too. I just love to collaborate! :-)

It certainly makes things easier if you like what you are doing. I'm a Nerd, so even if I never found a way to make money I would still be messing with computers and websites for free.

It really depends on what i do. I don't develop Micro Niche sites. The sites i do build however, i say i would spend about 7 hours in development, planning and strategy and 3 - 5 hours on content. The rest of the day is spent studying. Through a 24 hour period i spend 5 sleeping sometimes 3. It all depends on how i feel. Most of the effort when im not developing goes to maintenance, updating and studying. I try and fit exercise in their as much as possible.

It is definitely an effort when starting out IM but once you get your websites up ie your network and they all flow together and you can use them all to your advantage. It all gets better. Depending on how well yrou ideas are planned and how fast you implment them will determien how fast you dont need to work for somebody else anymore.

DON'T GIVE UP! THE FINISH IS JUST AROUND THE BEND AND IT GETS CLOSER AND CLOSER EVERY TIME YOU SPEND THAT TIME MOVING FORWARD WHETHER THAT BE IN DEVELOPMENT OR STUDYING.

About 8-10 hours, but too much of that time is spent on forums so I need to spend less time on them.

I used to spend upwards to 8-12 hour days, but now that my sales funnel has been working for the past few months, I only spend less than 3-4 hours a day booking solo ads/ad swaps and tweaking my funnel with new offers.

    Life is good.

Totally depends on what projects i have got on.

At the minute i have been away for 18 months living in cambodia and pretty much took a year off so the last 2 months iv been working pretty much 16 hours a day most days. I dont mind because i enjoy what i do and it enables me to do the things i want when i want. (Like going away for 18 months and still getting paid )

Op are you the chick on your sig?

To answer your question, i have worked about 2-3 hours everyday on my site for the last three weeks. Total noob. I feel that i should be working no less than 5 hours a day. if only i can quit my job and if only university wasn't that demanding, I'd most likely work on it for 8hours a day.

Lol. No, of course I'm not the "chick" in the picture. If that were me I would have to put up with people trying to get to know me in forums and engage in catchy conversations that include words like "chick". I'm a big hairy guy who's here to talk IM and money.

That's especially true. I wonder how many warriors have eye/hand/back problems.

Right now I'm working about 4-6 hours a day. I wish I could say that I did administrative work. If only there were more hours in the day.

It honestly depends on the day. Sometimes I get on a streak and I work for 16+ hours and I have to force myself to go to sleep. Other times I only put in 3-4 hours. It really just depends on what I'm working on.

I used to work 12 - 14 hours a day when I first started. Right now I work only half that time but ironically, I produce much higher quality results working lesser hours.

I wrote how I did it here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-each-day.html

Wow. Surely there are a lot of factors that could affect this.

I do 3 hours daily at most (but could get long to as 10 hours for product launches).

I came in the IM biz because the person who sold me the idea claimed that this biz only requires less than 2 hours of work a day to make tons of money.

When I initially started, I found myself spending more than 12 hours on it, working till late nights, sleeping less than 5 hours a day, burning all weekends on it, and forgoing all my chill out activites. All these hours were spent on the manual work to setting up autoresponder, squeeze page, driving traffic etc.

After a few months, I still spend quite a bit of time. Somewhere between 4 ~ 6 hours a day on the biz. I hope to move it to the next level where things can get more automated, and with that, I can aim to cut down to 4 hours a day on the actual manual work, and spend the rest of the day thinking, reading, learning new strategies, so as to move to a higher level.

Overall I feel that the many hours spent were worth it. This is an interesting business.

Hi, I'm spending 6-8 hours per day at this point since I am in the learning phase on IM. Plus another 6-8 hours a day trading FX. So pretty much in front of the computer until my eyes burn out daily. Looking forward to reducing the hours one day.

I have to say I work for about 8 hours a day 7 days a week on all my projects I had to cut down from them long 27 hours stretches of trying to understand the whole IM game you just burn out and then you need to take a few days off to recharge the batteries.

Best advice I can give is pick something and just hammer it out until you see results and stick with until you do

Monday through Friday I work between 6-12 hours per day dictated by how often the kids attack.

Saturday and Sunday it is closer to 4-6 hours per day, but that is mainly playing with the things I enjoy doing to drive traffic, so more like hobby time.

The best thing about working in IM from home is the freedom of schedule. The worst thing is you may find yourself getting up at 5AM and working until 2AM just because you can.
