blog has been archived or suspended???

I just created a new blog on Wordpress.com. I posted clicked to "view site" and got this.

"This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service."

Anybody have a clue as to what is going on? I scanned the TOS and could not find anything wrong that I did. Was just writing about a linking system.

      This is the issue you will be constantly up against if you create blogs using places such as Wordpress.com, Blogger, etc.

      They retain constant control and thus can suspend or delete all your work at a whim, and you have no recourse.

      You will be far better off buying and hosting your own domain using Wordpress.org CMS. It will be your property to do with as you will.

    You and a few hundred other Warriors, I'm afraid.

    These places can (and habitually do) interpret their TOS however they want to, with no accountability, no responsibility and sometimes no common-sense. And of course there's usually no remedy available for the customer, when this happens.

      Unfortunately, I Ignored warnings about blogger blogs being deleted because I was so sure it would not happen to me. (I did not violate their TOS)

      ...But it eventually did. In fact about five of my blogger blogs were deleted. The restore requests go unanswered too.

      I've been using weebly lately and will try the others you listed.

    Buy a .info for 10 cents at Godaddy and use free hosting from Alexa's list, I use Byethost and 000Webhost myself. I am very happy with it.

      This brings up another question. If you own many sites that are back linking to yours wouldn't that be bad in Googles eyes? Like self promoting? Or would making the whois private when you register the domain keep it hidden from Google who owns it?

      I've heard that creating your own network you need to have different IP's or different hosting accounts or something. I have a hosting reseller account and could easily accomplish building a network but not sure how it looks if you own the entire network of backlinks and they are registered under you...
