How much to charge for ad space???

I recently had an inquiry from a company about buying ad space on one of my websites. The website doesn't get too much traffic so I assume they want to place the ad because of the pr(4) of my site...

Anyone know what the going rate is for a home page ad on a pr4?

    It depends on the niche and the amount of traffic you are getting. Attorneys and real estate agents usually pay a ton of money for targeted ad space, but it depends on the demand. You may need to experiment with your first few weeks or a month with clients to see how satisfied they are with the money they paid for traffic.
    I have once charged $50 per moth for a 12 word text ad on my construction website that gets 200 visitors a day. And I kept those ad spots filled very quickly.

    I also think that it depends of your business situation, in one of my sites that is on first position for Google and get tons of traffic, I receive emails about a banner or ad space on it every single day.

    But I prefer to use the space for my own products, good affiliate products and special promotions.

    I make more money on this way.

    You could offer them $200 per month and see what they think.

    If it is too much for them, then ask for $100.

    If that is still too much then don't take the ad from them. They probably want it for like $10 per month.
