Clickbank direct linking vs Clickbank with a pre-sell page

Hello warriors,

I am planning to send FREE traffic through
viral ebooks, articles, etc. to clickbank product.

Which is better?

1. Direct linking to the salespage.

2. Sending them through the pre-sell page.

If sending them through pre-sell page, what
are the important factors that I have to keep
in mind inorder to increase my conversion rate?

Thanks.

Pre-selling is far, far, far better: no comparison at all!

It's more "in order to have a conversion rate" at all, than just to "increase it". Increasing it depends on how well you do them. Having a conversion rate in the first place depends on doing them. There are three absolute "key" ones, on which everything else more or less depends, and they're listed here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7080188

I coud'nt have had a better person to answer
      my question.

      Thank you very much Alexa.

BTW, can you show me a sample landing page, please?

If you setup a presell page then you can capture their email with a free report. If you are using clickbank most of the good affiliate offers will offer a free ebook and sometimes autoresponders. Much better idea. I have done all sorts direct to the offer and they definitely do not convert as well as a presell from a personal point of view.

Not one of mine, with apologies (because I put a lot of time and effort into researching my niches, partly on the basis of how non-competitive they are, so I don't ever post them in public; please excuse me).

But here's a nice one belonging to a Warrior friend, who (I hope!) won't mind my posting it (it's been building up for a while: you don't necessarily need anything like as much content as this one has, to get started): IVF Success Stories | IVF Success Stories - Overcoming Infertility

        Points to note ...

        (i) Brit creates massive personal credibility for her niche, so that she comes across as truly experienced in it (her personal story - as you'll see - resonates deeply with her visitors, given the niche), and you can do this under your own name or in a pen-name

(ii) Pure "squeeze pages" aren't the only way to opt in the visitors and build a targeted list. An opt-in in a blog/site sidebar will typically build a smaller list, but they're different people and often far more responsive and likely to buy in future

If you ever need to change a link it will be critical that you can control it. An ebook direct linking to a ClickBank product is immediately out of date if that product is discontinued. But an ebook linking to your web page about the best providers of Acme widgets lets you modify which providers you want to promote.

I agree with the above commenters with a twist. You can direct link about 2-300 hops/clicks to a ClickBank offer and see if it converts or if the buyer is at least willing to get to the order page (Order Page Impressions in Analytics).

If that's happening - then you change the direct linking to your own landing page to capture their email, do some pre-selling etc. etc..

Some (not all) Clickbank products can convert without pre-selling. Good pre-selling just increases your conversion and profit.

Agree with Alexa, and you should send the traffic to the squeeze page, instead of the affiliate pages.
