Can I Make A Free Website And Sell It On Flippa In A Short Time? Please help

I'm new to this forum so sorry if i posted this in the wrong section but i need to make a website. I'm trying to get into the "website flipping" business but every time i find a web hoster that says "Oh it's only 4 bucks a month" i get deep down into it and i have to pay a "upfront fee" and that fee is usually so freakin high.

Is there a way i can make a free website then just buy a domain name from NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-.com? Or can i just make a free website and that's it? I know about backlinks, SEO, Article submission and all that so that's not a problem. Or can you recommend some cheap website hosters that dose not have such a high "upfront fee" like all the rest of these false advertising web hosters?

Think of it from the buyers perspective. They want to buy something of value, so a free website probably won't fit the bill.

What type of website are you wanting to build? Are you wanting to build a template style website that the buyer can port over to a host?

Yes, a template style website is what i want. I don't mind paying 5 bucks a month it's just those upfront fees that kill me

        What "upfront fees"?

You can choose to pay for a year in advance, if you want (and there are discounts if you do), but you don't have to pay anything upfront for hosting, apart from the first month's fee, at places like Hostgator?

There's free hosting at places like Byethost, Freehostia and 000WebHost. Or you can get hosting at Hostica for $1 per month for one domain ... it doesn't get much cheaper than that.

As I said in another thread, YOU CAN do this...but the market has went way down for good quality sites with unique content.

It's better to establish a site and then sell it instead of looking for the short flip.
That's my opinion, your mileage may vary.

People want results for places like flippa. You will probably need to make a niche site and get a good flow of traffic on it if you plan to get any money out of it.

Getting traffic is not a problem for me thank goodness. I just need to find a place to make the website for cheap, with my own domain name.

I would agree that the short term flip is not going to work on flippa. I tried to sell a dozen super nichy (mortgage related) sites on flippa nice sites good content, low number of eyeballs on the page, didn't even get pity bids. Your best bet in my opinion is bite the bullet and get the $6 a month hosting and then put up as many niche sites as you want on that one account. Build them out - drive traffic - sell - rinse and repeat. True story here I thought for the longest time you had to get hosting for each domain name. I felt like a huge dumbass when of all people a NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO- rep ask why in the hell I was wasting money. That was at the time my best day in paypal income when he refunded hosting fees on 12 accounts.

Can you recommend a web hosting site for 6 bucks? All of the ones i found, you have to pay a upfront fee and that's what kills me.

Okay, if you pay MONTHLY, it's more like $9.95, but Hostgator lets you pay monthly, so there's no real upfront fee. And their baby account, which is the one I"m talking about here, lets you have about 100 domains for that price...

And of course they have Fantastico for quick WP blog creation, and they also have super friendly and helpful support staff.

        Good luck!

I went over to Hostgator and they have the hatchling plan and you can get it for $3.96 a month if you pay up front for 3 years and that is for a single domain. However, you can get the same plan for only $7.16 a month and that is all you would have to pay to get started.

Your best be would be to go with the "baby plan" for $7.96 per month, with no up front fee, except for the first month of hosting. The "baby plan" gives you unlimited domains on the hosting.

They are reliable, great support and have free tools you can use to build your site. You can't get any cheaper than that or at least I don't believe so.

You are better off getting a site up and running that has income. Even a little bit of money coming in would be better. People on flippa go gaga over that. And they want to know your copy is gunna make sales.

That will get you better results, and you could charge 4 times on your auction minimum.

people like to see something half professional that gets traffic & or sales.
