e-commerece WP theme for beauty salon?

I have a friend who has asked me to make her a simple-ish website for her beauty salon so she can sell some of her products online, mainly make-up.

any suggestions as to what theme would work well? only ever made one e-commerce site.

Good resources, there is definitely a serious need for good themes and software for this industry.

As luck would have it, I just picked up a client who has four salon locations, I looked around at various themes, some SAAS services were by the month, (not something my client is interested in,) I found one theme that seems quite interesting however the purchase price is $140.00 not too bad considering, however the theme does not provide for some of the basic needs of a salon or beauty service.

saw some interesting themes at Envato, but again they just do not have the back end for this type of application.

looks like this is a good niche for offline and online marketing.

Any time you have a demand and there is no emerging leader in providing a software solution there is money to be made.

I thought about using Orange Business Flex, but the back end is so confusing and scattered there is no way my clients can learn it without putting significant time and effort learning the system.

business people do not want to look at a confusing and difficult user interface.

They want simple, they want that red button, )

I would still go with Wordpress - there are some astonishing plugins that can turn a WP site into an ecommerce one and keep the functionality.
