Anyone Using HostAnother.com and Can't Login?

I have some sites with hostanother.com and can't login to wordpress admin. Checking the error logs I see:

failed: No space left on device (28)
Then I go to open a support ticket but that is generated a 500 error too. Their contact form is not processing E-mails either. Seems the server's disk is full to the max.

Does anyone have a way of contacting this hosting provider here? I bought the service from a WSO here a while back and can't find the thread (deleted maybe).

    Sounds like the /tmp directory needs to be cleaned. They should be on this before you experience problems. :/

    I am also having problems with Hostanother.

    So far I have established that the WSO owner I bought from has sold Hostanother. I found this out when PayPal informed me that the recurring bill had been cancelled. I contacted the new owners through the Client Area.

    They said that the DNS I was using was wrong and told me to use ns1.hostanother.com and ns2.hostanother.com and everything would be ok.

    I did that about 36 hours ago and still cannot access my domains, cPanal or ftp.

    I have sent in another ticket and they received it and closed the ticket immediately, so no reply.

    I have had nothing but hassle over this and been lied to by them. When I said I am surprised they did not contact Hostanother customers about the changes, they said they had sent an email to all contact addresses explaining the dns had to be changed.

    Besides being unable to access domains etc. I have also had no email access for at least two days.

    Everything is a mess and the above is only part of the problems I have had with them. I have asked four times if the renewal fee that was originally discounted will be honoured - no reply.

    An update on my last posting.

    Hostanother support have just contacted me in reply to my seventh ticket saying there is nothing wrong with my hosting and to prove it they gave me an url to go to showing my main site opens without any problem.

    The only thing is that the url they gave me is not mine. i.e they mispelled it.

    What a fiasco!!! Three days now with tickets back and forth and still no hosting, no web sites and more importantly no email.

    My advice to anyone, stear clear of Hostanother, their support is total rubbish.

      Final update for what it's worth:

      After six days of tickets/emails to and from Hostanother, they eventually accepted my earlier advice and checked to see if my IP was blocked - it was!

      The reason given was a 'POP email error' whatever that is?

      I then had access for less than 24 hours and the access problem started again.

      I have now migrated my domains to another provider and will not be renewing my hosting service with Hostanother.

      I give this advice to anyone considering using them:

      They do try to help but their expertise is lacking. I had suggested to them on the first day I became aware of the problem that it appeared to be a blocked IP address (I pinged and trace routed) and it took them 6 days to find my suggestion to be the problem.

      They kept advising me that everything was ok and the problem was at my end. (Passing the buck?).

      I've lost income because of their poor technical support and you should keep away from them at all costs. The may be low cost but at the end of the day, it has cost me an estimated $1000.00 of income because they simply did not know what they were doing - the most expensive hosting I have ever had.

      Hostanother - do exactly that - host-with-another and not them!

      For what it is worth - an final update.

      After 6 days Hostanother eventually got me back on line.

      They 'discovered' that my IP address was blocked because of a 'POP email error' - whatever that is.

      I had suggested on day one that they it looked like my IP Address was blocked (I had done a ping and a trace route) and they ignored my advice until I suggested it again on the 6th day.

      Within 24 hours, the problem was back and they then simply ignored my emails informing them. (and 'yes' they would have received them).

      I have now migrated all of my domains away from them and will NOT be renewing my hosting service with them.

      To anyone considering using Hostanother, here is my advice:

      They may be low cost (or should I say 'cheap'?) but in the end their lack of technical support expertise will cost you dearly if you get a problem with them. I estimate the 6/7 days with my sites down has cost me a minimum of $1000.00 - the most expensive hosting I have ever had.

      Hostanother? Do exactly that - host-with-another.

      BTW: The original owner of Hostanother (A Warrior Special Offer - so I will not name him) should feel ashamed that he dumped all his trusting customers to these people. But I suppose, as usual, profits and money take precedence over ethics:-(
