Which is more profitable..? Or should I do?

Online business like making niche affiliate websites

Offline business. Selling online site space to offline businesses as well as making a website about a certain location niche (San Diego plumbers), ranking it, and renting out the site to an area plumber.

Which is better

I would try both if I were you.
The offline method you said has been promoted for years and deffinately works.

Also I would suggest picking some good fiverr gigs that local businesses would need to boost their revenue and selling them on your website for 5-10x the price. Send atleast 25 e-mails a day and I´m sure you will be making profit.

You got to try both, and if one starts becoming more profitable than the other, then go with that one!

What's stopping you from trying both Tommy?

Both online and offline have their pros and cons, and it really comes down to what kind of a lifestyle you want.

I know from personal experience that if you don't want to deal with people, then stay away from offline.

Well, in both cases your biggest challenge will be traffic... so what you need to focus not how can you make a site, rather once it's done how will you drive traffic to it (rank, paid, etc.) If you find the answer to this question, then you are in a win situation.

So my advice is: build the site you think you can get traffic for.

It really depends on what your strenghts are. If you're more of a people person, go with offline. But you can always go either way.

    I do both.

My offline model is working closely with local businesses and receiving commissions for new clients I send their way. My commissions are high. I create sites that appear as my clients' sites (with their blessing). I buy PPC to the sites, use a call center to intercept calls and track callers, and use my own contact forms for tracking. Works like a charm.

I don't think I'd go into the site leasing biz. SEO is too variable. If you negotiate high commissions with high-value local service businesses, you can easily buy traffic and earn a profit. Just be sure any business you talk to has no bad rep issues online.

My online model is nothing new. Build lists and promote recurring commission products (mostly). That's about it. I used to focus on affiliate marketing directly off of my websites, but tired of SEO hassles. Now I buy most traffic.

I gotta go with the offline business model you proposed. Me personally... i'm too lazy to do the offline thing. That's why i just stick with the digital products niche.

Whichever you pick, the single biggest determinant
for which will be profitable is how FOCUSED you
are in doing what you need to do to succeed.

If you pick just one online project, say a website,
and try to make it a super AUTHORITY website,
ignoring every other website or project, it will be
    profitable beyond your wildest imagination,
    eventually.

If you pick just one offline venture, and and try to
make it a as successful as you can, ignoring every
other project, it will be profitable beyond your
    wildest imagination, eventually.

I'm a big fan of diversification - to a point. You need to be able to put enough focus in each project to make it work.

I'd do both but focus on one of them more to be sure to give it your best shot. And if it works, keep doing it, and maybe outsource.

Meanwhile, set aside a few hours each week (or even a couple of hours a day) to work on the other project too. Make it a race to see which one brings in money faster.

Generally, if you can get people to hire you for your services, you'll get more money faster, but you're also selling your time (unless you outsource), so there's only so far you can go with that.

The one you will actually do.

The other one won't make you any money, because you won't do it.

Don't think there will be a universal answer to whether online or offline is more profitable. Will depend on many factors.

As to whether you should choose the online or offline path, this will depend on your skill set and strategy.

Nobody can tell you that because what works for me might not work for you. So, i suggest you try both and then see which one is more profitable.

    Why not both?

I started offline and now I do both.

If people want to give you money for something you are offering, on or off, I wouldn't turn them down.

Perfect one and than use the same principles in the other.
