Placing classified ads using a company or program.

Has any person on this forum ever bought a program to help post ads on the main classified sites like backpage and craigslist.org? I would like to know if they actually work and if they are worth the money? I have read using a company with a support system in place a better idea. I just would like to know your thoughts.

Thanks,

Stuart Nunn.

The whole point of free ads is they are free - hence the word.
Pay for them in any way - even for a submitter - and you are paying for advertising.

As stated above - if you have a spare 100 bucks, invest in proper paid ads or PPCs.

The same goes for buying credits on TEs - the money is best spent elsewhere.

As for these submitters, we're pretty sure a lot of the sites that accept them are worthless because everyone uses submitters so no real people go to the sites and see the ads. The best sites make you open the page you want and scroll to the bottom for the submission form it makes ure REAL people go there and see the ads.

The spam emails come from the FFA sites - a lot of free submitters actually post to FFAs as well as class ads, or sites that have both such as FFABiz.

This submitter, or any submitter, is not exactly a "scam", but it is a scheme - and it cashes in on people's laziness.

Free ad sites DO work, but you have to do the work placing the ads, tracking the results, finding which sites work best with which ads, changing the headlines, etc, until you have your goldmine.

I now have a list of sites where I can guarantee new signups each month - it didn't cost me anything in terms of money - but it did cost me a lot of time.

You have to pay your dues.
