Yes, videos and pictures do help, but 'ranking' is such a complicated term you can't even begin to describe it in a post.

Indeed, Video marketing is a hot thing right now, and seems to be working fine, but don't expect to rank it magically.

You can add the video to your blog, promote in forums, articles etc.

I've always found it much easier to get a youTube video ranked on the first page of Google than a normal web page.


The thing is will your video convert? you need to have a very compelling video, either a video review or a bonus video and you need to instruct the viewer to click on the link below the video.

Getting videos ranked in Google is not that hard all you need to do is drive high quality backlinks to your YouTube video page, and also get your YouTube video embedded on other high quality websites.


Personally I have had a lot of success with the review style video. You don't want to make these videos look professionally produced, someone sitting in their kitchen in front of the camera talking about a product they just purchased and how great it is, these types of videos convert from me.

You can use video marketing to get on the first page if you choose to go with less competition keywords.. Normally below 5000 exact search. You can get the tops spots for high competition keywords if you do it right with proper SEO. Better outsource it or use softwares..

1 chose keyword that have a good search volume.
2 can you find the related product to promote?
3 See your competition do on the first page
If they not optimize on page SEO you can compete them easily
and if there are not videos on first page, this is your opportunity.

There are a variety of ways to get a lot of views on youtube if you have the right topic to use. If you do make something that will be appealing to your viewers, they will pass it on to others. Plus writing a blog along with that video will help and you will get bumped up in the search engine if you use the right keywords and content to do it. I use it in promoting sites but don't expect it to take effect on your ranking just wait for weeks or even months for you to get results. And make a good quality video too. This will definitely help you rank.

Yes if you can get popular videos then will help.

I have used lots of videos to promote my websites and they do help to drive in traffic if they have good content, for sure. You got to make them interesting, informative and attention-grabbing, plus you need to optimize them properly to get them in good positions.

Yes, Youtube videos are much easier to rank on certain keyword than regular websites. I would recommend you to join a Youtube exchange sites to boost your views and likes. (U2bviews and Vagex are pretty good ones) I would also buy lots of cheap backlinks to the video. (check Fiverr) Quantity is more important than quality when it comes to ranking youtube videos.
