Logo design, privacy policy, thank you page, Aweber setup, copywriting. How much would all of this cost for a Clickbank product website?

I think if you have all those jobs done, it can cost around $500 for decent products. $1,000 is better but the best price to get the best conversion etc for the product launches it's $1k.

Would it still cost this much if I tried and handled most aspects?

Mid $xxx is probably entry level stuff.

    Low $1xxx is okay stuff.

If you want to hire big shots then the copy alone would cost you 1000s alone.

A decent (read: low) price for copy would be $0.05-0.1 per word if you want a proper sales letter with some formatting. The website will probably cost another $200-500+.

For any decent copywriter who is worth his/her chop
you are looking at upwards of $5K.

Of course you (usually) get what your pay for.

In fact, you may get this done for nothing.

Bare minimum 5k if you want a copywriter with a proven track record. Ray said it best, you get what you pay for and I'll add that if you try to skimp on copy it usually costs you much more in the long run.

Your copywriter is an asset that makes you money, not a liability. And sorry WeavingThoughts... copywriters do not charge per word... that is an article writer. Big difference.

Yeah if you're starting from scratch and want to build your own product, then at least $500. Go to elance and you can find some good talent there. You still however, have to worry about systems, merchant accounts, customer service, marketing, and on and on. The making of the product is about 20% of the whole pie, ok maybe 30%.

I think that 400$ is probably the cheapest price you can get.

Those bits add up to less than $100/$150 between all of them (in fact Logo Design is probably the only one you really need to pay for at all).

This one's "How long is a piece of string?". If you want a copywriter with a independently verifiable record of successful ClickBank conversions, I would think you're looking at an absolute minimum of $3,000, and much more likely $5,000+, to be realistic. But then again, you might get lucky and find (maybe even through a WSO or forum listing?) someone who for under $1,000 will do a "$3,000/$5,000 job". There's going to be a lot of luck involved in that, though, and realistically the odds are always strongly against it, in any individual instance. (And of course there are good and valid "market reasons" for all of that).

A lot of it you could do yourself, but as Alexa points out, a good copywriter is an investment, not a cost. You can Google most of the set up stuff and learn to do it yourself, or outsource it via somewhere like elance.

A lot will depend on your budget and how much time you have.
