Do solo ad vendors sell unique clicks or non-unique clicks?

Most solo ad advertisements just say "100 Clicks".

Also, since my solo ad vendor did not specify previously whether I'd receive unique or non unique clicks (i was assuming normally it would be unique clicks) shall I have a case with Paypal? He delivered more than 100 total clicks but half of those were non unique clicks.

Lastly, does click refer to clicking a link on the email swipe or clicking to open the email?

Thanks in advance for your reply!

  • 1) Solo ad vendors normally deliver unique clicks.

    2) Try discussing with your vendor again before having a case with Paypal. Ask him to deliver the remaining clicks.

    3) For your last question , click refers to clicking the link inside the email swipe.

    • Thanks for the detailed response Jason.

I have. I ordered the clicks 6 days ago. And contacted him numerous times with his promise that they'd be delivered.

He delivered 71 in 6 days. That's pretty bad IMO...
  • Really bad.. I normally get my clicks completed from sellers in 1-2 days.

How about the quality of the clicks? Were they converting?

    • The conversion rate is very low. only 9 opt-ins and 0 sales. But I think that could also be cause of my opt-in page not being very enticing.
  • Yeah most solo ad vendors are legit and want you as a customer to be satisfied. So they sell unique clicks. If this vendor isn't giving you the results you want, or he is delivering crap, then you might want to just eat it on the cost and move on to the next one. It's not worth your time and negative energy to get all up in arms over it.

  • That's a really low number of opt-ins from 71 clicks. Maybe his traffic is from some safelist source.

    • I thought it was because my opt-in page was really bad.

  • Solo ad vendors will just send an email they can not guarentee it gets received or opened not sure about them
  • but the thing is the solo ad vendor didn even send the agreed amount of clicks. let alone the opt-in rate. ask for refund or give that guy few more days?

    • I filed a Paypal dispute. But I've read that paypal doesn't resolve digital sales/services.

  • Every solo ad that i have ever bought has been unique clicks

It should say on their sales page anyway

If you can try to give them your own swipe email because that way you can make sure people are interested in what your free offer is about

Otherwise they may send a "blind" email to their list just to get you lots of clicks fast but this is NOT what you want, you want qualified people only coming to your squeeze page that already know what they will get if they opt in

Doing this will increase your opt in rate and also increase the profitability of your campaigns

  • how much did you pay for 100 clicks?

  • Solo ads usually provide unique clicks. You can ask your vendor for a report about the clicks you purchased and most of them will gladly send you one. I don't think you can have a case with Paypal. What I would suggest you to do is stop using that vendor and find someone else. Before purchasing any ads do query the vendor and check his testimonials first a good vendor will have a lot of good testimonials and as a rule I will only buy 100 clicks at a time just to try out. If i'm satisfied I'll purchase anothe 100 clicks. its safer that way
