Clickbank Commission Calculations on Upsells

Hello,
I have a couple of questions on selling a product via Clickbank.

1. If an affiliate sends a visitor to the merchant page and the visitor decides to opt-in but not buy the product and later after a few hours or days buys it, would the affiliate have his or her commission because it was through his affiliate link that the opt-in happened?

2. Say I sell an ebook for 37$ and have an upsell of 49$ for those who want the ebook with the audio option. Would clickbank offer the merchant of awarding two different commission rates- 30$ for those who sell the ebook and 40$ for those who sell the ebook with audio. In the case, what would be the commission rate that would be displayed in the Clickbank market place?- 30$? or 40$?

Thanks

I beleive that as long as the cookies are the visitors computer from the initial visit the affiliate should get the commission.

From my experience the commission displayed in the CB stats are without upsells, thats why everyone lists the up sell potential in the description

If you have an upsell item in your clickbank account, then it is automatically set to the same commission percentage as your original product. So if affiliates are getting 75% for your original product, then they'll also get 75% for the upsell. I don't know if there's a script out there to get around this, but this is usually how it is.
