Hi,
I'm looking for WP Theme to create sales letter. Which one should I use? Optimize Press, JV Press? Others? Can you provide your opinion?

I use optimize press as it gives a ton of variations to play around with, I did hear a rumor that a new version will be out soon. Check this blog post out Optimizepress 2.0 Review & Release News it might help you decide.

I also use Optimize Press and it has worked great for me (sales pages and squeeze pages). I've never used any of the other options you mentioned so I can't comment on them.

Hi, i'm using Profits Theme but i know most marketers will use Optimize Press so i would recommend you to use Optimize Press. There's also a new launch yesterday of the InstaBuilder on some forums that you can integrate with your themes. It's a plugin that does a lot of awesome things.

I want to create a video sales letter. Is Optimize Press suitable for this? or should I use Kajabi instead?

I would better suggest that you use optimize press as it is mostly used by others.

Optimize press features a lot that could help design your website or even creating video sales letter.

It will promote your site which is important to build organic traffic to your site.

In addition, it has training and tutorials to follow in creating high quality videos. Your videos will be added in seconds so you can launch your site to everyone in a faster way.

I hope my opinion solves what you are looking for. Good luck in designing your website and creating video sales letters.

Sure, you can use Optimize Press to create a video sales letter, just create you video and get the embed code of the video and choose your sales page template inside Optimize Press and put you embed code and your Add To Cart button and you are good to go.

The creators of genesis framework just launched a theme for sales pages. It's spendy, but it looks to be very promising!

Martin Crumlish and Susanna Teresia have come out with a really cool Plug-In to solve all sales letter problems. It's called InstaBuilder. So, you can put this on any WP theme & install a Sales Page too! It even has a built-in marketing graphics library & social media share buttons.

I'm not an Affiliate - Don Wilson gave me the heads up on this. It was $47 bucks/Developer's Version at the time of this posting. You can get it at:

I just optimize press and just use the default page, or sometimes sales 4

I would be lost without optimize press

I've heard really good things about Optimize Press & have thoroughly looked it over (but haven't tried it out yet). From what I can determine, OP is a theme - so, you can only put the one page up there on your site. Is that correct? I'd rather put a WP theme up there & then add a sales page or pages as necessary (with the InstaBuilder Plugin).

InstaBuilder is a Plugin & you could put a blog up & have Google 'like you' because your blog is interesting & become more prominent in the Search Engines. It seems like InstaBuilder is more modern too. I found the OP Sales Page to be a complete YAWN & with my ADHD really couldn't make it through the whole vid.

Not to mention the fact that OP is about a hundred bucks & InstaBuilder is $47. Just mho.

Nope that isn't correct. With OP you can put up as many pages as you want. What I usually do is have some theme installed on teh root of my domain, and then I will install OP on another directory like in domain.com/offers or domain.com/products and in that directory is where I'll have all the sales pages and squeeze pages using OP.

Also - InstaBuilder is a great product too, but it won't have any effect on Google "liking you" or being more prominent in the search engines.

Do you ever have conflicts or difficulties with two instances of WP running simultaneously on the same domain?

I am actually having problems with my WP theme right now. I wish I could get it straightened out - because it's a Lead Gen site that I have set up to sell services to Local Businesses. I think my site looks like a mess & it really bugs me.

Do you have a solution for my mess - Steve?

That's a really good idea to put OP in another directory - never thought of doing that!

True about Instabuilder not being able to make one more prominent in the search engines. I prob stated that badly. There are many other ways that would help one in that regard which would be: PPC, backlinks, YT, FB, Yahoo Answers, forums, & etc. I only meant that if you did write an interesting blog & then installed IB on another page of said site - then you would move up in SERPS.

There are many ways to move up Sales Pages as well & I didn't delve into them - as I thought the person asking the question might be somewhat new to IM & it might confuse him. Just trying to keep things simple. There are many ways to skin a cat.

I'm sure the gurus would look at what I said regarding ranking Salespages and laugh out loud. They have noo trouble whatsoever ranking SalesPages - or anything they want.

I have a number of blogs with different themes and the instabuilder plugin will allow me to add sales pages to existing blogs without changing the theme ... so the plugin gets my vote (though not quite what the OP asked!)
      {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[7276631].message }}
  • Go with the InstaBuilder plugin. It does the lot and even works on existing blogs using different themes.

Plus it does sales letters, squeeze pages, delayed order buttons for video sales letters, and a bunch more stuff like Facebook/Twitter unlocking of content.

Oh -- and it's a RESPONSIVE theme (for the ever growing mobile crowd).

And no - I've got no relationship with the plugin creators other than being a very satisfied customer.

Astonished to see that not so much crowd is for Profits theme. I am using it frequently and i love it. Optimize press is another good but since Profits theme, i have never tried any other. Check Profits theme and it is really worth of money

I own a copy of ProfitsTheme too and you won't get any arguments from me. Great software for squeeze pages and sales letters and has a built-in membership function that works like a boss!

I only recommend InstaBuilder in this thread because it's a plugin as opposed to a theme which will probably be a lot more flexible over the long term. And right now IB is cheaper too. With this economy - that's always a plus.

Same here, I like to check out new themes when I have a chance but I almost always end up using Profits Theme every time.

While it's true that OptimizePress straight out of the box tends to look like every other OptimizePress site, if you're a little handy with CSS, and put in a decent footer (using the footer code box in General Options) then you can create a great site that looks very different to everyone else's.
