What can I do to make my clickbank product more successful?

So I've had my health product on clickbank for about a month. My product costs around $40 with a current gravity of 30, payout is 70%. I'm starting to attract more affiliates, so I'm building an affiliate resource page to see if it helps in building my CB affiliate force.

Right now my product consists of a salespage-->CB--> Thank you page with download.

I'm driving traffic mostly with ppc. Here are a few idea I had for squeezing out a bit more $$:

- presale followup series
- post sale followup series
- squeeze page
- free report
- audio upsell
- bonuses to salespage
- 800# to walk people through sales process
- recipe book upsell
- affiliate resource page
- press releases to get the word out
- article marketing plan
- content network
- picture for salespage

Am I on the right track here, or can you think of some other ideas for increasing profits on this product?

Thanks.

Mike

Recruit more affiliates like crazy. Hold contests, give prizes, incentives, negotiate deals. There's nothing you can do on your own that will compare to the power of a large motivated affiliate task force promoting your product.

I would say the same, get as many affiliates as you can. Just make sure it converts

Make sure you have emails going out to your subscribers for the full 60 day Clickbank referral period, and let your affiliates (and affiliates to be) know that they can make sales up to 2 months after they send you someone.

And definitely get a squeeze page up!

If you use something like EasyClickMate, I beliave you can also give your affiliates the option of sending their traffic to the sales page *or* to the squeeze page (will start using EasyClickMate myself soon, so not completely sure of its options yet).

You Need Proven Conversions to attract affiliates.

You need Affiliates to get your Gravity Up.

      Network to find Affiliates.

As far as you affiliate resources area you should
      have

      -Banners,
      ----Header.
      ----Product Cover (eBook Cover)
      ----125 x 125

      -Email Swipe Copies,
      -Sample Articles
      -Sample Blog Post

That's it. Unless you are going to do a launch...then you can incorporate prizes etc.

The biggest think you can do is ensure your conversions are there.
That is where you should spend your money. This way when you
reach out to potential affiliates you have strong data to back it up.

      Highest Regards,
      Sean

Yea you should start actively recruiting affiliates by contacting websites who advertise similar/related products.

Also, this forum is full of affiliate marketers, why not advertise your affiliate program in your sig?

My conversions are steadily 2-3% with PPC traffic, but there are days when I touch 4% overall. My PPC campaign is hardly optimized and I see keywords there that are converting at 15%+....they just dont get much traffic.

Will I repell potential affiliates by adding an optin form and followup series or is it better to offer a totally separate squeeze page and keep that optional?
