Buying YouTube Views - Country of Origin?

I'm trying to get a YouTube video ranking in Australia - google.com.au - and it just won't turn up in the SERPs. On a hunch i checked google.com today & my video is there on page 2.

I have been purchasing traffic, likes, etc through fiverr & now Vagex. I have optimised the channel, video, etc in a fairly non competitive niche.

I checked my video stats this morning & Most of my traffic is coming from USA & other parts of the world - basically none of it is coming from Australia.

I'm assuming this is the reason i can't get my video to show up in Google.com.au?

I'm assuming the country of origin plays a part in which version of Google your video appears?

    It's not only views. Backlinks play an even bigger role. Focus on getting backlinks from .au domains. Also, social media should help you too.

    I have purchased links through warriors for hire & fiverr. I got some AU directory links yesterday & will keep focusing on finding some local links.

    US-based and the the customer service is great. No annoying stock email support. That crap annoys me.
