Question for Fiverr sellers...

Hey there,

I have set up my first Fiverr gig, and it is a video tutorial.

I set it up so that when the buyer purchases my gig, they get a link to my video.

So I've had my first sale today, but I don't get paid until the buyer responds to my instructions... The thing is, I didn't give any instructions other than to check out the link to my video.

What's the best way to set these up for instant delievery and fast payment?

And how do I get paid now? lol

Many thanks

The gig will be marked as incomplete unless they respond with something. If they don't respond you'll need to contact them and at least get them to say a message to you. Once they do that you can mark the order as delivered. One way to skip this step is by not putting any instructions for the buyer so once they purchase you deliver without any other interaction from them.

For the getting paid you have to wait 14 days after it is complete and then you can deposit into your paypal account

I believe Fiverr pays you every 2 weeks. After you deliver your work, let your buyer know that the gig is finished, and ask them to give you a swift and good feedback on your account.

Fiverr doesn't pay you every two weeks. What they do is finally put money in your Fiverr account from each gig ordered 14 days after that gig is delivered and once you get feedback from the buyer. If they don't give feedback your order is marked as completed 3 days after you deliver, and then's it 14 days from that point, so 17 days in total after delivery.

You then have to go in and withdrawal your money from your fiverr account to your paypal account so in effect you pay yourself whenever you want, once you have a balance.

Anyway, for sheffernan, don't put any instructions in your gig. It's not actually required.

Just wait for someone to order your gig, then you go and "deliver" your gig by giving them the link to the video.

The way you're doing it now is all wrong and has created this problem, obviously. So the delivery won't be instant, you just have to pay attention to email notifications you get when someone orders your gig. That's it.

      edit:

To get paid now, you need to go and write a message inside the order so you can get a response from the buyer. Then you click "deliver" to finalize it and start the process to getting paid.

Thank you very much guys! I was under the impression that I could automatically deliver the video, but obviously that is not the case.

        Thanks again!

If you're going to tell members to check your signature, this is what they'll see.

maybe you can tell your costumer to type anything such as the tutorial title then you only will delivery the video tutorial (or link video tutorial) after they type the title.. So it is not autopilot you still need check your fiverr account..
You can redeem your payment after 14 days
