Verifying if Proxies are Private or Shared

I currently using TweetAdder and thinking of using Instadominate. I'm at the point I'd like to start using proxies to use multiple accounts.

My concern is finding the best proxies to use and properly using them. It goes without saying it's hard to trust that you actually get what you purchase. So these are my questions:
  1. How can I verify the purchased proxy is private or shared?
  2. If it's shared, how can I verify how many people are using it?

    There is no way you can verify that the proxies are private or shared...

    yeah, you can't be sure .. when i asked the company i work with, they told me that each proxy server is dedicated to each customer but then again, an email marketing company, does it have smtp's and mail servers dedicated to 1 customer ?

      more then sure a mail server has 1 or more IPs that are shared to multiple users !
      because is very hard to get IPv4 IP spaces from ARIN, and ARIN is not giving IPs for proxies or VPNs, is only giving for VPS, SSL, and domains more then sure in the near future all the real private proxy providers will raise their prices for private proxies ...
