Hi guys, I've been using notepad for a while to save my passwords, website urls and even to do lists. However, I am growing tired of it as it is messy and inefficient.

I was wondering, what do you guys use to keep all of this neat and organized?

For a free basic solution, try using Google Docs.

Thanks for your input, I would prefer a program that is not online though. Something I can download and keep on my desktop. Paid or free does not matter.

I've moved totally to the Cloud, so if my laptop gets stolen, I'm covered.

Maybe someone else uses desktop software and can advise you

i use excel to keep track of things like passwords and lists. outlook is good for keeping organized. there are even programs that let you save your passwords and logins. norton 360 has one thats part of it's virus protection program.

Use Excel. Lock the file with a password and sync it using Dropbox. Two advantages.

    1. Excel makes it much more organised. You can use separate sheets each for passwords, to-do, etc

    2. You can secure offline by setting a password. For additional security use dropbox. Even if you tend to miss the file, you have it on dropbox, always available from any computer.
