Traffic was very hard for me to get to come my website before now i lean a few tips and i start to see good number of visitors pull to my site because of a little work on my part.

    I have once get 10k pageviews in 1 day but it fluctuates in the other day to 100 then the other day 0. Why? Because it's an event only. Make sure that your traffics is targeted and you have a good website that will continually get targeted traffics.

    I just don't understand how do people get lots of traffic to their websites. I tried earlier but my maximum visits were 100 per day that's it. I made a new website but still under process and my website includes affiliate marketing. Hope I get many page views this time and customers to like my products.

    Driving traffic can be confusing, can’t it? There are so many voices – so many opinions. Everyone seems to be wanting to sell their “latest and greatest” method of driving traffic.

    Some of these “shiny object” methods are stale by the time they get to market and will simply never work. You know that if you have bought any of the “three click” software hype. I know I did. Hey, I’ll try anything!

    Other methods that work well are often dismissed as being “yesterday’s news” or just too hard to do.

    One thing that seems to be missing in the talk about traffic online is the ability to see the big picture.

    At the end of the day experience tells use that there are only two ways to get traffic. You earn it or you buy it. Simple really.

      From what I have been told it comes down to a basic choice:

      Free marketing = Easy but long time for results.

      Paid Marketing = Quicker results but higher costs.

      Not quite sure how true that is but I assume no happy medium?

    A great way to get traffic that will never die out is to go where your customers are.

    What I mean by this is to find forums, blogs, and other sites that are on the same niche or subject as the products that you are trying to promote.

    Create a list of all these blogs, forums, sites, etc.

    You can buy banner ads or PPC ads on those sites

    You can do blog commonting or guest blogging on those sites

    You can post in forums in your niche that allow you to have a sig that points to your site, or have link to your site on your profile page and if you create value on that forum people will visit your profile page, see your link, and possibly visit your site

    So pretty much what you want to do is to find out where your target market, your ideal customers hang out, and then hang out there also.

    What matter is the consistency
    I remember once on of my blog posts was featured on MetaFilter and for the next 6 days the daily traffic soared to up to 10,000 unique page view per day.
    I'm still heavily dependent on Google and organic traffic
