Hello Warriors,

This is not going to be an internet marketing question, I had no idea what to write and decided to ask here,

Here is the story:

I have been working at home since 3rd grade, for the first year I was active PPC affiliate marketer promoting Clickbank products with Google Adwords.

And for the last 1 and half a year I have been doing SEO on my own 15-20 websites promoting various products from Clickbank, Amazon, etc.

Now, what should I write in my CV?

PayPerClick Affiliate Marketer at Clickbank Inc.?
or Search Engine Optimization Expert?

I am lost and don't know what to write, really,

I'd appreciate if you could help with this,

Thank you all, looking forward to your replies,

The title you give yourself is ONLY custom, and used for headhunters and to call attention. People are more interested with what you have DONE!

These days, sprinkle key words, like (PPC, CPA, SEO, Search Engine Optimization, etc....), and describe what you have done. A CV is similar to a resume in the US, but more detailed and can be longer. The idea is IDENTICAL though.

So you send the resume so they will be exposed to it. Each time they look, MOST will look for key phrases. If you don't match their idea of the pattern, they may throw your CV away! If you match, SOMEONE will look at the detail, and possibly hire you. AGAIN, if they complain too loudly, etc... your CV may be thrown away. But CONTENT IS KING!

The first question is what kind of work are you applying for?

That will give you clues about what to say.

    For example

    - if you are applying for work as a builder (but have no work experience in that area), they aint gonna give a **** about IM jargon. Tell them you work out at the gym regularly, that you can make an 8am start, etc.

    - if you are applying for work as an SEO specialist, then sock it to 'em. Tell them what you have done in the seo field, what your achievements are, what you have learnt post panda/penguin, etc

You get the idea. Make it relevant to the job you are applying for. They want to know if you can do the job they are interviewing you for, not what else you can do.

The best CVs are written somewhat like a sales letter rather than just a list of skills.

Merely stating that you can do something will not catch the attention of the employer. If you manage to explain how it will benefit his company, and to connect it to tangible results, then you will greatly improve your chances.

In other words, target your skills to what his company needs in that position and list all of the benefits of that skill ... like PPC campaign resulted in $____ in increased sales and ___ number of new customers.

    You get the idea.

I 2nd what Carol and Suzanne said. Don't just tell them what you did... tell them what you accomplished and make it relevant to what you will accomplish for THEM. That's what they are interested in -- what you will do to help them.

Send a good cover letter that shows you did your research on their business.

    Vusal,

First off, I'd like to re-emphasize what 2 or 3 Warriors already said. Know what you're applying for. You need to know what position you're applying for so you can position your tone and pitch well. But for the sake of answering your original question, I believe you are concerned about the title you may call yourself for branding purposes.

PayPerClick Affiliate Marketer at Clickbank Inc.?
    or Search Engine Optimization Expert?
Don't mention "at ClickBank, Inc" because you are not an employee of CBI, are you?
You may mention "PPC Expert," "Affiliate Marketer," or "SEO Expert" if you like.

One thing to keep in mind.
If you were hiring someone for your own business, wouldn't you want to know how they can help your business? Therefore, your CV should be focused solely around the specific job you are applying for. If you have expertise in certain fields, it's only necessary to make them prominent if they actually bring benefits to your position inside the company.
