My First WSO, Need Help...

Hello Friends,

I have just submitted my first WSO.

My WSO has been approved, I have to make
$40 payment to make it live. When do you think
should I make my WSO live for maximum response?

Also when I posted my WSO the youtube video
link that I posted in the WSO showed a link to
my youtube video when I did a preview of my post.

When I tested the same thing
in the test forum I realized that when the thread
gets live the youtube video gets embedded in the
post. However during preview it shows as a link
to youtube.

So I am just confused whether my youtube video
will get embedded once the post gets live. What
you think?...

Thanks for your help...

Thanks,
Murtuza

Your video will work fine once approved.

The best time to launch your thread is as soon as it's ready.

Don't over think it -- just get it done.

I think you choose the time when the WSO area less active so not many people pump their threads up, that's you best bet. Also watch the number of users are viewing. Monitor the forum for a day or two, you will find the pattern. Sorry, I don't know the exact time.

You should post the link to your post in this format:

    not in any other format.

    Good luck with your sale

IMO when more people bump threads that is also the time when more people are online. That usually means more business, not less.

It also means your offer will disappear off page 1 faster.

But if there are less people on the forum then less people are bumping and your offer will stay on page 1 longer.

So as you can see there are arguments for and against and it's going to be different every single day of the week.

So, as I said above, my best advice to you is to launch the thread as soon as it's ready. There are much better things to worry about that will have a far greater impact on the success of your WSO than what time you launch the thread.

Besides, as soon as your offer hits page 3 you are allowed to bump your thread so you can test a different time/day then.

Just get it launched. No one can buy your product if the thread isn't launched.

You might be right. It's all based on your calculation. For example,
In the less active hours, I only get x1 visitors per hour and I can stay on page 1 for y1 hours.
In the most active hours, I can get x2 visitors per hour but I can stay on page one for y2

so compare x1*y1 and x2*y2, bigger number will be preferable.
Also, define your target buyers clearly before launching can be very important. Where are they living, what time could they be online on the forum...

What's worked best for me is that I know I'm going to bump my offer during different times of the day, so I wouldn't worry too much about when you should release it. What you should do is after it goes off page 3 and it's ready to bump, try bumping it at a different time so you can get more metrics to work with.

As long as your offer is making money, keep on bumping it. You can also edit your sales copy and test different headlines, add testimonials, etc.

I think as WillR said don't overthink it.

Personally I check the number of views before I launch or bump my wso's.

I work on the basis that if there are a lot more people viewing the wso section then I can equally get a lot more eyeballs checking out my wso.

That said I think you'll just have to see what works for you and go for it.

Remember that if we all launch/bump when everyone else says to then you will be off page 1 so fast you won't like it.

      I hope this helps.
