Anyone ever tried a mentor?

I lost my full-time job about a month ago and have been trying to make cash online for about a year now....Im failing badly, don't worry this isnt a sob story. Anyway I have enough money in the bank to see me about 3-4 more months without work, i would happily put in 60-80 hours per week at the minute, the problem is I have no direction as everything ive tried...or half-tried has reaped little or no reward.

Spent money on a solo ad the other week...made zero in return.

Tried micro niche sites with amazon....few dollars here, few dollars there.

Im currently building some authority sites in subjects that interest me, will I make money from them down the line...I dont know but Im enjoying making them so I dont mind.

I read everywhere about how you get info overlaod when you're a relative noob (take action) so I try not to read to many WSO's promising ritches. Which is why I was considering a mentor, to be honest I would happily give $1000 to the first person who showed me the way to making my first $500, a loss obviously but rinse and repeat as Im always told.

Anyone had any good/bad experiences with them? Like I said, show me a way to make $500 and I would happily pay $1000.

Dude, right on, not a sob story, you have actually done some work out in the IM space, got your knees bloody and are stuck and looking to do something that will get you un-stuck.

A mentor might be exactly what you need. It is ALWAYS best to listen to someone who has made more money that you, and simply do what they do. I've always had amentor when starting out and it saved me hundreds of wasted hours.

The problem, because I've been in your situation, is that you are all over the place, trying adsense, niche sites, amazon, etc and have found that doing that stuff really isn't gonna bring in the big dollars. PM me and I'll steer you in a direction that will get you results.

I would suggest researching a few well known "gurus" and proposition them with the idea instead of asking them to come to you because you will get a lot of self proclaimed gurus.

I see a lot of "limited space" classes so I am sure most marketers will help you out if you ask them.

    Hey Arran82,

    Nice honest post!

The old adage is you keep doing what your doing, you'll get what you got...

IMHO, a mentor makes all the difference. Not only do they significantly speed up your success but they offer a support column for you when times are bleak...and they will be.

Success requires that goals be clearly identified, plans prepared and action consistently enforced.

    That's the difference they make...

    Llwyddiant!

You made some amazon sites, why not build more, expand the sites, drive more traffic and get them making money?

Don't make the mistake of jumping from thing to thing, keep your focus and work on one thing to make it work.

You've had some success from Amazon, so read more about Amazon on the forums, test different things and make it more successful for you.

    All the best

Good advice from Jason. Flitting from one idea to the next can be the worst path to take but it is often the result of feeling that the are not getting anywhere when you need to get somewhere fast. There are some free coaching-like guides online that might help. One that springs to mind is some 'live' coaching that was done on nichepursuits.com at the end of last year. The 'student' was shown how to build up an Amazon site to the point of a decent monthly income.

Having just stretched myself to go with a mentor, John Thornhill.

I would recommend before you do the same, check out your potential mentors free content, free training and low priced training before going for the big ticket mentoring.

Can you follow this persons advice, do they give you the information required for you to progress, do you like their teaching style, have you gone as far as you can with their low priced offerings, if so then it maybe time to invest in their full on mentoring.

Of course if you answer no to any of these questions then spending a lot of money with someone you do not get on with is not a magic bullet but a sure path to failure and empty pockets

    "Anyone ever tried a mentor?"

Careful where you spend your money, since 99% of the stuff being sold out there is nothing more then trash. If you are looking for a mentor, one name I could throw out there is Liz Tomey. I am not affiliated with her in anyway, but have bought some of her products, and she seems to be down to earth when it comes to helping people make money, with REAL methods.

Don't quote me on this, but I think she is offering personal coaching, but not sure if she is still running the program.

Google her name, and check her out. Good luck with your situation, I can see you not making any excuses, and are a good candidate for success

A mentor with a proven track record is invaluable as they will tell you what you did right or wrong with your solo ad etc. Even before you spend the money they can tell you your next steps. But be sure that they have a PROVEN TRACK RECORD.

The only issue that I have found is the mentors that are worth their weight are super busy. So it may take you some time to find the right one that can really help you achieve your goals.

I think mentoring and coaching has got the potential to have excellent value.

Although I would have thought there is a certain stage to get to by yourself in terms have already found a direction, are getting daily leads etc. And then the mentoring can be more of value to take you to the next level rather than something that is needed right away if there are no results to work with yet.

      Definitely agree.

This is also one of the reasons to approach someone directly about getting mentored. Those that have the time to chase new clients by running ads offering mentoring are not as likely to be what you need.

A tip for directly approaching someone and asking for mentoring is to create a video or write a lengthy email about WHY you are approaching them, and WHY they should share their time and knowledge with you.

Mentors have generally been a good investment for me.

One thing I've learnt over the years, is to develop the discipline not to get attached to failure.

Now, when me or my students launch a project, we aim to fail fast [assuming we made a wrong call], so that we can tweak, test and try again.

Turn the negative into positive and appreciate each failure as a valuable lesson learnt. Develop a strong MINDSET and sooner or later, you'll hit a home run - that is the nature of business!

My friend works for a huge company in the UK, they once spent £16 million on advertising and made £16 million back. Did they cut back? Nope! They looked into what went wrong and spent that money all over again.

    Best wishes.

A mentor works. Make sure he knows what he's doing, I've noticed the most important thing you can get is the motivational push you can get from your him/her. It's someone who understands you and what your doing, compared to someone at home or a friend who can't grasp that making money online IS possible, so hang in there, do some research and find a good mentor to get you back on track.

Having a mentor could be, one of the best choices-- any could ever make. Gather as much "social proof" as possible. Make sure this individual, has produced "successful students". Also, make sure to watch the money you spend.

As already mentioned, zero in on a specific area-- that you need help in and then seek the mentor that can take you to success. Having a part-time job is also a good idea, wish you the best of luck!

As someone that has spent years doing just that, I can tell you that it would have saved me thousands of dollars and an insane amount of time and hard work if I had used a mentor in the first 6 months.

You are correct in saying that you learn the details of how to do things from forums and blogs, but they do not provide you with direction that is relevant to your individual situation.

I'm sorry, but this is incredibly short-sighted. (Sigh...)

As Jamie SEO noted, direct mentoring/coaching will save you A TON of time, money and frustration. Just look at all of the questions here asking for help: how to do something, something's not working according to the directions, etc.

Google and forums are like a giant barn full of a huge pile of puzzle pieces -- for multiple puzzles! Sure, the pieces you need are there. But how long will it take you to find the ones for YOUR puzzle? And if/when you do, how long will it take to put it all together? How much money will you spend to figure it out?

To be fair, you're making the mistake I used to make: equating coaching with learning how to do something or about something (like you would learn in a paid course).

An article, video, forum post or course sharing how-to info is NOT the same as coaching. These things impart the knowledge. But coaching goes beyond that. It addresses your individual questions and unique situation.

A good coach will offer tailored advice and resources, often not mentioned in an info product. No matter how comprehensive the info is, it almost always leads to further questions. Coaching will help you get those all-important questions answered.

A coach can offer a valuable second opinion, see your weakness and blind spots. (They've got your back!) An experienced coach will also offer valuable input on any mindset issues you have. (And we all have them.)

A good coach can also introduce you to their network of friends and colleagues who might otherwise never give you the time of day.

We see posts here regularly about how to get some "guru" to JV with them. Well, one way is to pay for some coaching and get an introduction! Or they can offer their insights on how to get JVs, how to approach them, what to say, what their own experiences are, etc.

These are all benefits an article, video or self-study course can't provide.

I'm very much a DIY person myself and was very skeptical of coaching myself. As I said, I made the mistake of equating it with information (articles, videos, courses, etc.). It's NOT the same.

However, to get the most out of your coaching (and the most for your money), I typically recommend studying the best information you can find on whatever it is that you're learning first. Do your homework! Then, you can come to the coaching and ask intelligent questions, skip the stuff you already know or have no problem doing and focus on your problem areas.

I've paid THOUSANDS of dollars for coaching as I mentioned earlier in this thread. It's been one of the very best business decisions I ever made. My coach is a multimillionaire and her personal advice and input has just been invaluable!

      I hope that helps!

Two things you MUST know about mentors.

        1. You will ONLY get out of it what YOU put into it. Don't expect any mentor to
suddenly turn you into a money making machine just by pushing a button.
Making money online takes work ... tons of it.

        2. Make sure the mentor you choose fits your personality and desires. Not
everybody is a good fit for what YOU want to do.

I don't mentor anymore but I have learned from the many students that I have
that you can give somebody an ABC do this, do that formula and it still doesn't
matter because you can't create skill where skill doesn't exist. You also can't
create the ability to spend money WHERE needed if the person is broke.

I have found the best students to be the ones that are already somewhat
successful and are looking to go to the next level. Most "Just starting out,
clueless, deer in the headlights" students wash out and can't cut it. Mostly
because it's culture shock to them when they see how much work is involved
and how long it takes to see significant progress.

I'm telling you this so you go into it with your eyes open and aren't blindsided
        by the reality.

Before you get a mentor, research them COMPLETELY. Go to Google. See if
there is any bad press and if so, how much. See what kind of track record
they have. Get references if you can.

Do not give ANYBODY one DIME until you are sure...

        1. They can be trusted.
        2. You are ready to work your ass off.

Take this advice for what it's worth to you.

Go back to that dream you had a few years ago that got you so fired up, as if
a freight train could not stop you, even if it met you head on at maximum speed.
Remember the dream that died because of circumstances, disappointments, piled up

Arran82, put your wallet back in your pocket.

You have 3-4months money to live on. Then what?

Get yourself back in to "work" ( for now ) so you can keep a roof over your head, food in your belly and money in the bank.

"Work full time on your job and part time on your fortune" JR

There is a well known post on here where a warrior spent a cool $250,000 on Guru's and mentoring. He'd pay $800 just for a phone call with a "guru". Mentoring or a guru may not be the answer for you right now as you're so heavily depedent on it working.

Get yourself back in to work earning your bread and butter. Use your spare time to work on making IM work. You're already building sites and make something. If you can make a dollar you can make a million you just need to scale up what you're already doing. That could working on more traffic or building more sites.

Get yourself a mentor to mould you once you start making a part time income and let that fund it. You might even realise by then you don't need one.

You can make a lot of money in IM with very little outlay it just takes time to hone your craft.

Get yourself a job and work on your IM part time, you'll enjoy it a lot more.

A mentor doesn't have to be someone who is in internet marketing, sure they can teach you methods to make internet marketing profitable, but I think the most important thing to realise is that all entrepreneurs go through the same problems and need to know how to break though the barriers to business growth not matter the industry. Take for instance,

You will be in 1 of these 3 situations in your business and everyone goes through the same stages

    1. Reading every piece of information going and getting clogged down in the details. Effectively going round in circles with the shiny object syndrome looking for the get rich scheme or are determined to find the right business for themselves. NOT TAKING ACTION

    2. Half baked solutions. This is where have you have your hands in so many pies that you end up with too many half baked solutions because you are stretched too thin, this stems from a lack of focus or even commitment issues. Your too scared that you will miss something so you end up trying everything.

    3. Hitting the wall, this is the final stage before success, you chosen your topic and have the focus but no matter what you do you just can't seem to break the barrier to business growth. You hit a dead end.

Now what I'm trying to say is that your mentor doesn't need to be in IM to help you through these phases. As long as the mentor has had success in their own business then they know the ways to break through these phases. The solution is not IM related its a case of business mindset.

tis important to have a mentor.

They can 1) kick you up the ass when you need it.

    2) Help you with other problems you may face.

    Hey,

Having a mentor will lead you to success. They can offer you the shortcut and allow you to gracefully avoid the mistakes they made.... However it can be difficult to find a good, reputable mentor who can actually help you to success.

Have a look online about seminars etc they maybe up coming or being hosted near you etc. At seminars you can meet really good speakers and mentors who can give you the course and guidance you need. Again i know you have 3/4 Months but plan well and make sure you invest in the right person for your future....

All do your research on the mentors.... look at their success and portfolio.

I paid my mentor $3K in 2010 and $8K this year, for a total of $11K. Well worth it! She's fabulous!

It's good to see that you've put in effort and are willing to spend some money. But with no job, I'd save your money and go looking for a job. The closer you get to running out of money, the more desperate you'll feel and it will reflect in your work.

Even with a mentor, the learning curve may well mean you lose the $1K plus whatever you spend to implement what they tell you to do. Without a job and further funds, that's not a good place to be in.

Even if just from a strictly mental and emotional perspective, having a job will do wonders for your IM efforts in the beginning. You won't feel desperate and will make better business decisions.

That said, it sounds like you're jumping all over the place. Focus is key!

Clarity is a HUGE part of IM success. It's so simple when you know it -- and darn difficult when you don't! I owe my mentors a world of thanks for bringing this clarity.

IM is actually pretty simple: you can sell only one of two things:

      1. Products
      2. Services

      That's it!

And selling products or services online happens in the same basic way for everyone, no matter what they're selling:

      Traffic > Opt-in page > Autoresponder series (or e-zine) > Sales page

That's it! It's just that simple. (We IMers tend to overcomplicate things.)

But no matter what your niche is, or whether you're selling a product or a service, do you know what your business model is?

A business model is the framework or skeleton of your business. Essentially there are three types of online business models:

      1. Membership-based model

A membership-based business model allows you to build a community of people (your members) who are as passionate about your subject as you are. Your membership fees can be monthly or annual, but either way, you're building recurring, passive income.

There are a lot of resources and information out there to help you build a membership-based business if you're interested in doing this.

      2. Product-based model

Selling products allows you to maximize your time and effort by selling items over and over again. This can be hard goods or it can be information products. Information marketing is it's own business model under the product-based model. Information marketing allows you to take your brain to the bank by creating a product ONCE based on what you know and selling it over and over again.

Affiliate marketing falls under both models. You can choose to market either products or services as an affiliate.

      3. Service-based model

Selling services can be great for 1) generating quick cash (as in the case of article writing or video producing) and 2) establishing your expertise and getting testimonials.

However, in the long run, your goal should be to offer services at a PREMIUM. The biggest advantage of IM is LEVERAGE. You're able to leverage your time, money and expertise exponentially online. We all have just 24 hours each day. Time to get ruthless about what you expect for those hours you spend in IM each day. Expect more of yourself and more from your business friends, clients, partners, etc.

What results are you getting for those hours you spend online each day? Ultimately, your services should be at the bottom of your funnel and cost the most since they involve your time and personal attention. (We all have a limited amount of time each day.)

The fun (and confusion) comes in with all of the endless mix-and-match possibilities of the above models. If you're just starting or still struggling to make money, keep it simple:

      Pick just ONE!

      1. Pick ONE niche. (Something you're interested in and know something about.)

      2. Pick ONE target market for your product or service. (Who will buy what you're offering? The more specific you are, the more you narrow it down, the more successful you'll be.)

      3. Pick ONE business model.

Now that you're clear about what business you're in, FOCUS! (And stop buying any info not related to your niche and target market, period!)

      F -- Follow
      O -- One
      C -- Course
      U -- Until
      S -- Successful

And remember: build a list, Build a List, BUILD A LIST!

In IM, it's easy to put the cart before the horse. Take a deep breath, step back and consider what type of business you REALLY want. Don't worry about getting traffic or buying that expensive traffic product until you know 1) what your business model is, 2) what niche you're in and 3) WHO your target market is!

Successful business people will tell you that MARKETING is more than half the effort that's needed for success anyway. So pick a niche, target market and business model. Then spend most of your time and effort marketing it.

If you DON'T have a solid plan or system, THAT'S when it's hard. A good system will shave YEARS (and save you big $$$) off of your learning curve

That's why I recommend investing in at least one good, comprehensive IM course (or mentor who will give you such a system) instead of jumping from one $37 e-book to the next. A lot of people here complain about not being able to make any money. But neither are they willing to invest in their business. (Buying a random bunch of $37 e-books doesn't count.)

The best thing I ever did was invest in a comprehensive IM course aimed at REAL business owners, not just other IM wannabes. Yes it was $1500. (It's no longer available.) But it was truly some of the best A-Z IM info I ever bought. Everything else I've learned (from the $37 e-books) since has simply been plugged into this system.

Get a solid plan or system and then work the plan!

      Hope this helps!

    Hey Arran

The first thing I suggest is try to find a mentor with a similar background to yourself. That will save alot of time since they will understand you better.

Secondly, only bother with one-on-one mentoring. That way everything is 100% tailored to you.

A big red flag is anyone that offers "mentoring" that gives you advice without first asking questions about you.

To get a mentor that will help you succeed, you need someone that will chat with you by phone, Skype or in person to discuss your goals, time availability and financial situation. Next they should be asking you about your skills, knowledge and interests. Only AFTER your mentor has that information should they be making any recommendations.

The way I mentor people is by not advertising, and just going by word of mouth or approaching someone directly if I think I can help. I also set aside some time each month to provide free mentoring to certain individuals.

Having said this, I would NOT recommend myself as a mentor for you, since my main focus tends to be on Work at Home Moms and Internet Marketers that have little to zero money to spend on start up.

Since you do have both time and money available to get yourself up and running, I suggest looking for a mentor that focuses on outsourcing. Rather than just looking for an ad, approach someone that is well known in that field and ask them if they have anyone they could recommend to mentor you. You may want to contact someone like John Jonas for this.

My approach with mentoring tends to be:
1 - Talk with mentoree to discuss goals, finances, time available, etc
2 - Have mentoree create lists of skills, knowledge and interests
3 - Discuss lists with mentoree and recommend the best methods to make money for them
4 - Create a step by step plan (if detailed technical knowledge of something is needed, recommend products or sources that can be used)
5 - Have weekly progress updates via email or Skype
6 - Once money making method is up and running, review how much time/money was required and go over any issues
7 - Review success of method ($'s profit and $ return on x hrs of time)
8 - Discuss how to proceed in future

The most expensive part of mentoring is the contact time. You can minimise the amount of time you need to deal directly with your mentor by being prepared. Make lists and notes whenever possible. Keep any emails. If using Skype, check with your mentor and see if they are happy for you to record your conversations using a program such as Pamela, so that you can play it back later.

You can also minimise contact time by only using your mentor for the planning side of things, and for detailed learning of how to do a task have them recommend a product or source. Paying $7 for an ebook that shows you how to create a website is much cheaper than paying a mentor for the amount of time it would take to teach you personally.

Good luck, and let us know how you go

I've had mentors ever since I was a little kid.

Now granted, I pissed off the majority of them (this was in the OLD "aol" days lol) because I asked too many questions.

But yeah, it's important to have someone you can rely upon for knowledge.

Just remember to ensure that they're actually trustworthy; there's an unfortunate quantity of snakeoil salesman in this game. Do your own homework, and if you're wise, you'll be better off.

PS: It's also MORE important to be able to think for yourself.

If I couldn't think for myself throughout the years, then I'd be stuck in a real job.

Just my $.02; any questions then ask.

A mentor is a great idea. After a little more than a year in this game
trying to figure it out myself and failing miserably, I am looking for a
    "mentor" too.

The best advice I can give is that the proof is in the pudding.
Look for guys that you see around a lot AND they work with other people a lot.
This way, you'll have more references to check their experience and what
    they've accomplished.

If you are interested in being mentored, you can post in the thread I challenge you to MENTOR a warrior in need...

I know that I am only one of many experienced internet marketers that checks that thread and approaches people directly if I believe that I can help.

A great mentor will form a connection with you, and they often feel your success or failure more than their own!

If you approach a mentor or post in a thread, make sure to write a convincing post/video/email about your situation and WHY someone should be willing to share their time and knowledge with you.

    Hi,

My name is Madeleine, I have attempted to go it alone for some years, if you're new to IM you need a coach/mentor. It is definitely worth investing into yourself with the very best! I am very new to the Warrior forum, and it's a confusing place. I am 69 years old, and can be found on skype as I do not spend any time here. My coach helped me through some very difficult times and I have already earned my first $1,000 due to her coaching.

    Wishing you nothing but success,

I have a few people that I 'mentor' so let me tell you my experience from that side of the fence

What I find is that people already have all the pieces of the puzzle. They know how everything works but what they struggle with is putting the puzzle together.

I also find a lot of people have quite a closed/focused mindset when it comes to IM and I often need to drag them back to see the 'bigger picture' so to speak.

However no matter how the mentor, really it is down to you. I have one client who is super organised, really hungry for it and pushing forward every single day in leaps and bounds. We speak weekly for a catch up/review and a few 'off the record' calls throughout the week.

We have put an entire strategy together for his niche that will see him extract profit from every angle all while building a sustainable business and brand.

Then I have the client thats never on time for his session, has lots of excuses as to why he hasn't come close to hitting his goals for the week - but he sure does talk the talk, says all the right things, has the passion but just lacks any commitment/drive.

What I would say though is if you select the right mentor, an hour on the phone with them will offer you more value/inspiration/focus than any WSO.

Sorry Jay but that is just a crazy statement. You may as well say I can win formula one races by reading the highway code!

Yes there are many successful marketers who did not have mentors. Many people are either very astute, very lucky or very driven and make themselves successful.

However for most the fastest way to success is with the proper training and coaching. You put in 10 years at school (and maybe 3-5 years at university) before you can generally start earning a good income. Left to your own "learning" devices just how successful would most people be?

I worked full time at IM for nearly a year before I paid for a mentor. I had 100 times more success in three months than in the year before my mentor.

Since then I have not looked back. I could have saved myself a year and earned more than the mentor cost me.

Picking coaching/mentoring has it's pitfalls as you may not know who you are getting and if they can work with you. Like with all things there are good and bad.

It is important to understand that there are different "mentoring/coaching" programs. I mean specifically one to one coaching. That will likely cost you $5k.

There are quite a few coaching programs around that charge around $500. I have tried at least 2 of those and they are basically the same. Not really one on one (even when it says) but weekly/monthly video courses with a few extras thrown in.

Yes they do teach exactly what you need to do make money but they do not really help you implement it.

A good coach and mentor will make help you actually do what needs doing and may even leverage from their own contacts to help you grow and succeed.

Of course bottom line is no one can make you do something. A mentor or coach can give you the training and tools but you need to have the enthusiasm, interest and time to do what needs to be done.

      Something else you should know:

A lot of good information products are actually high-level info products with some coaching attached. When you buy them, you also get access to Q&As.

Checking my e-mail right now is like the 12 Days of Christmas:

      1. I have group Q&A calls plus 1-on-1 calls with my mentor.

      2. I bought Dan Kennedy's Ultimate Lead Generation Machine which comes with 6 Q&A calls every Monday. (I just got off this call.)

      3. I bought PLF last year and Jeff Walker gave me access to the updated version this year, including all live Q&A calls. I also just got an e-mail from him announcing 3 more Q&A calls this year to help prep for 2013.

      Yay!

Bottom line: Plenty of access to and help from hugely successful multimillionaires (whom I can't quite afford to pay for one on one help yet.)

      And that's a BIG help!

Of course a mentor can help...it always helps to leverage experience to get shortcuts, connections and avoid the pitfalls that they themselves may have experienced on the way up.

I have always used mentors as a critical part of my growth - some have been paid, others are reciprocal relationships and still others I emulate through studying what they are doing and respecting their approach.

All of that said, what is critically important in the beginning is that you figure out (largely this is something you must take control of, a mentor can help if they get this part of the process) what your passion and strengths on your way to building an online business.

For example, a guy like Gary Vaynerchuck's passion is sales and converting interest into buying activity, while his strength is communication (video, audio) - so what he takes is something he knows (from his father's business) - Wine - sets a goal to pull in millions online with his own wine business and then leverages his strengths of communication by doing it through WinelibraryTV - his own video blog.

Another example is Tim Ferris (author of the 4-hour work weed) - his passion is to learn and teach, he found the most effective way of doing that on mass was writing his books (even though he didn't start off thrilled with writing he pushed through because he had an even bigger passion for sharing his ideas with the world). His strengths are in testing and using feedback to improve systems so you get the 4-hour work week concept applied to diet and overall learning.

We can go down the line, each successful business person has tapped into a big WHY and their own desire to share something with their market.

I only say this because so many people follow a system, business model or mentor only to discover that Amazon marketing, affiliate marketing, mlm, or whatever model they choose does not excite them in any way...they have set themselves up for complete failure in these types of situations.

To succeed in business you need a WHY, you need passion, you need a purpose and you need a strategy for making money.

I see this thread is a bit old but in case you or anyone else is looking, here's my thoughts.

A good mentor will be worth every hour and dollar you invest.

But, how to find a good one? A good one FOR YOU, that is. I'd suggest reading lots of copywriters' words and posts here. Get a feel and see who resonates with you. Just remember, not all great copywriters are great teachers. So discuss your needs in detail -- and his 'process' before signing on the dotted line.

I worked for several months with Rick Duris and found him to be INCREDIBLE. Not just a great copywriter but an idea machine and a man who also understands the business angle.

I'm not sure if or how he's working as a mentor now, but I HIGHLY recommend Rick.

What works for one internet marketer, might not work for you. Their guaranteed success plan might not be yours for many reasons. There are just so many factors involved, so even if you find an internet marketing mentor to tell you how to make money, it might not necessarily work. You might need someone who can look over what you are doing now, have done in the past and say what to do differently or next. That would be very valuable. Finding someone to give you honest (not paid for) critiques is extremely valuable and often rare. Though nobody can simply hand you the right answers.
