What did you learn from your last error?

With the recent paypal "closed account" thread that was discussed recently, I was thinking about how we become stronger from our experiences and past errors.

so, for example:

Paypal shuts down a buyer and freezes funds.

This leads to a sudden cash crunch and no way to accept payments easily.

Now, several few days pass and alternate payment means are accepted.

Suddenly, the prospect of your own merchant account seems like a necessary evil. plus you join plimus and other payment services.

you learn to accept checks by fax. and how to invoice. and factor.

when you look back a few weeks later, you see that that big issue was a blessing in disguise.

my question to you...

What did your last crisis teach you that helped you be thankful you had it?

I've learned to be open to ideas not working out quite how you had planned. It doesn't necessarily mean its a failure just a push in a new direction.

    My new mantra...

There's no need to fret, the next door of opportunity is probably only a few steps left of where you were heading.

Totally agree, I am now focusing on building my own software, that I plan on selling, and driving links to my regular WH/GH sites that are currently making money and to make more of these sites.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more

People can be a pain in the axx even when you provide them free (and professional) stuff.

Next time i will not deliver a free coaching, but a paid one, even for $5.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.
