Ideas to Promote a Book SERIES?

Hi Fellow Warriors,

I've read several threads whereby people have asked for advice with regards to promoting their physical and kindle books.

I have written 9 books and 3 more are shortly on the way. I'm not sure how to promote my 'Book Series'. I assume that my only option is to promote each book individually.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can promote my books as a series as opposed to individual titles as I feel a book series would be more credible in the eyes of the consumer.

Thanks.

Maybe start a podcast, each episode covers one topic contained in one of your books, 9 books could stretch for months. Get guests on board too.

A series is definitely more promotable for sure. Start with the basics...make sure and put a link in each book that links to the other books in the series. I'd also put a sample chapter of the next book in the series at the end of the previous book.

    1. Create a sqeeze page to capture mails and get some Paid traffic
    2. Start a blog writing giving sample posts from your books.
    3. Guest post on other blogs and link back to blog (Not squeeze page, they don`t allow this)

and Warrior Forum, best place to distribute, give 10 copies to selected people and tell them to give a review on the book on their blogs.

If you're serious and your book series is badass, spend some money promoting it.

Outsource social networking (for social networking, focus on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Pinterest. You could outsource a sweet campaign for like $200 a month), buy some nice banners on websites in your niche, and start some PPC and PPV campaigns.

You could setup campaigns I mentioned for as little as about $600 / month.

Also, build a squeeze page, with a massive autoresponder series.

Plenty of helpful advice. I'll add that you might want to offer the first title free on amazon just to build a following. They may get hooked and buy other books in the series. Use social media, email, blogging, etc to establish a relationship with them. You might find this article helpful:

Anyway, congrats on writing 12 books.

    Wish you all the best!

Is your series fiction or nonfiction? These get promoted in substantially different ways.
