Quick Cash for my Ecommerce site?

As of right now I have about 2,200 products and i have about $450 invested into it. I would really like to make some money before I invest a lot into SEO etc.. What would you guys recommend for fast cash? Such as facebook advertising? google adwords? Do I have any other options?


Facebook Ad's: I tried facebook ads for 3 days and wasted $30 I had like 1-2 people sign up but that is all. If anyone is a facebook professional and knows what will generate leads please send me a pm... All of my products ship WorldWide

    For one, you're in a fairly competitive niche. You need to think of a way to help set your site apart. Why should people choose your site over Victorias Secret or the other lingerie sites?

    As for Facebook, are you targeting your FB ads to your site or your FB fan page? You should direct it to a landing tab on your FB page.

      Fairly competitive? I'll say. There are dozens of dropship sites carrying the same products.

      AdWords is going to be expensive, because you've got Amazon and other deep-pocketed retailers to contend with.

      You can't differentiate on product or price, so promotion is just about it. Run a contest, promote it via the contesting sites, something like "Why I would like to win a lace trimmed leopard prints boning bustier from BlissGifts.com".

      Publish the best entries. Send out news releases. Put a link to the contest in forum posts, all the usual stuff.

      It is getting very late to do this effectively for holiday sales.
