Wanted-A real Internet Business Roadmap that works!

Hi Warriors,
Does anybody have a REAL Internet Business Roadmap (maybe a course, book or site) that REALLY works? For the record, I must have made a lot of IM marketers into millionaires by buying all the books and tapes, but I am nowhere near great success. ( I have just about recovered the money that I invested, that's it). Maybe my niches are not suitable for the Internet or I am doing something fundamentally wrong.
So my main question, can anybody show me how to sniff and discover "golden" niches, where I can get good KW with decent traffic, and then find good products of that niche to promote, that really make money for the aff?
Do such KW exist? If they do, would they be revealed? Or do the gurus keep the best paying niches to themselves and only "sell" the saturated niches to the market. I am well versed in Article writing and posting, creating SEO friendly blogs, link building and many other "IM" related skills, yet I have not achieved the kind of success that is often advertised. Now my own analysis is that it all boils down to the niche and the KW. Any thoughts on this, or can anybody offer any advice?

    I sell only my own products, however the sales are nowhere close to what I had expected them to be (I mean they are good but nowhere close to target).

          No, not aggressively at all. Whatever affs I have I happened to meet them over the Internet and they became my affiliates, I have not been promoting these products to affiliates. Thanks for pointing it out!

    You need to define your success first. What do you actually want to achieve? I am not just talking "get-rich" goals, I am talking real goals that are specific to your own circumstances.

    Once you have worked out what you want, you can work out what you need to do to get there- you'll be able to decide which of the varied tools you have learned will be most suited to your goals.

      Thanks! The goal is to get an average of at least $3500 US per month, net income, from an Internet based business(es). I have not reached that point yet even after > 2 years, so wondering....what am I doing incorrectly?
