i am newbie in facebook ads.
just submitted several ads through facebook ads.

may i ask will facebook approve ads during weekend?
my ads has been pending review for more than 24 hours.

if after my ads approved, when i change my targeting options, will the ads go back to pending review status?

  • It usually takes longer over the weekend, sometimes I've submitted ads on a Friday evening and they only get approved on Monday morning. During the week it's normally a lot faster.

If you make any changes to any ads after they have been approved they go through the approval process again. This is sometimes very quick, re-approved within a few minutes and other times it can take a few hours.

The only in-flight changes that you can make that don't require approval are the max bid amounts, although you can't switch from CPC to CPM or vica versa without going through the approval process again.

They will have to review your ads again after any changes. They will approve your ads a lot quicker if you will keep your account in good standing, bid high and invest a lot of money in your campaigns.

If you ad complies their terms and condition, you should wait for the approval. It can take some longer time in weekends.

There is no relevance on when the ad is submitted, from my experience anyway I have never had to wait any longer than 24hours regardless of the day the ad campaign was submitted for approval. What you are most likely experiencing is the Christmas rush as everyone is promoting hard for the rush and Facebook are probably just a little behind.

As for making changes, you really shouldn't need to be changing anything but typos.. you should be sure what you are submitting is correct before submitting the ad.. New ads/changes run better under the same campaign using a different ad block and helps heaps with split testing as well.

    thanks for the info.

the reason why i am thinking of changing the targeting options because the minimum price bid suddenly change to high price. Eg. it was $0.30 per click when i submitted the ads. The ad is still being reviewed and now the minimum bid is at $1.50 per click.

If i change my daily budget, will the ads go into pending review?

Something i find it weird. i submitted 3 different ads in the same campaign. Exact headline, bodytext, exact targeting but the 3 ads have different minimum price bid.
