You could use it to drive traffic to your website if you have one then makes sales on your site or sneak in affiliate links or sell answers / best answers on Fiverr.

You can always answer questions, and In the sources section add your website URL that Is relevant to the subject. If ya get top answer, the person asking Is likely to click that link, and when Indexed and answered, people searching that question will click It from the SE's and see your answer at the top.

Yahoo answers seems to rank very well on Google.

If you have a website then look for questions related to your niche, answer them and link to your website or squeeze page to get more traffic or leads.

What you can do is answer questions like you've been doing so far, but create a site/affiliate link and put that in your resource box. Preferably a link to your website would be best. You may get reported if you blatantly put your aff. links

I've created 2 separate accounts on yahoo answers and asked questions related to some of my sites and then answered with the other account. Then made sure to pick my answer as best answer so it stays on the top.
