Where to find non-IM niche affiliates?

Hi,

I am about to release a guide in the relationship niche and I'll be running an affiliate contest when I launch it.

My problem is trying to find affiliates so I can at least tell them about my product launch.

Of course, I've searched Google using my niche's keywords and have listed sites that sell products for a commission and I will be contacting them.

I will also place an ad here on the WF about my launch and contest and will do so on other IM forums.

However, I don't believe this will be enough. I want to find places where affiliates 'hang out'. I know about JVNotifyPro 2.0 · Joint Venture (JV) Lists, Announcements, Blogs, And Community Forums. and others like it but, from what I can see, they cater entirely for IM product launches.

But...my product isn't in this niche.

Anyone know where I can find affiliate forums and networks that cater for non-IM products?

Thanks
Robert

Sign up and submit your affiliate program information to affiliate program directories. Still promote on Clickbank and Paydotcom, and other services.

      Randall,

thanks for your reply but, that's the issue I have: finding 'affiliate program directories'.

My product is now being reviewed by ClickBank, BTW.

Would appreciate any further help you can offer.

Have you considered Facebook? I would put up a Facebook business page and then promote it through Facebook ads to get "LIKES". You can set your spending limit and keep it low cost. I have had great success with marketing on Facebook for my pet product and my non-profit bikers business. Both of which are not IM.

Outside of the IM niche the "list owners" tend not to have straight up mailing lists.

There will definitely be some in the relationship space (particularly if it's a straight PUA guide) but you tend to need to look beyond that to see who has the traffic.

    Great examples of are -

    - YouTube channels
    - Blog owners
    - Forum owners
    - Authority sites
    - Twitter power users
    - Facebook pages

Pay attention to their typical content. It'll help you make a judgement call between offering an affiliate deal or just sending them a free copy and asking for a mention (Assumes your product absolutely rocks).

    Hi Robert,

Use PayDotCom, apart from CB they offer a good marketplace for products that are non-IM like yours. It would also be great if you can join dating forums to actively promote your product as it will be one of the main products their niche market needs.

    Thanks to everyone's comments.

Just to clarify: my ebook (guide) is in the 'save marriage' niche.

ClickBank is good for this kind of stuff. But obviously 100000 people have already written an eBook about this subject - why should I market yours?

Good point. I've already purchased the 2 leading ClickBank ebooks in the niche. I know my offering is as good as both, if not better.

But, I'm still working on my 'pitch' to potential affiliates and hope to get this ironed out in the near future.
