Warriors;
I don't like spamming the web with 100s of law quality /spun articles. I'd like to get written highest quality 800-1200 word articles by outsourcing (lets say 1 per day/ 30 articles per month)..
I want to know whats the best strategy of syndication/ submission , in order to get maximum targeted traffic to my squeeze page.
And also how to write a quality article preselling the readers.
Thanks.
Don

  • Don,

I assume you've got niche and market research extensively covered, correct? Otherwise, you need to do this, before you start doing anything. The thing here is, for a B2C (business to consumer) market:

Desperate Consumer Market =>> Beneficial Offsite Content (and Enticing Ads) =>> Even More Beneficial Onsite Content =>> Mind-Blowing Squeeze Page Offer =>> Even More Mind-Blowing Mailing List Newsletter and Email Content =>> Ridiculously Mind-Blowing Products (Yours or Affiliate Products)

So, since I have free time today (waiting for something from my partners), send me the URL of your site and squeeze page via PM or email...

Writing an article is time consuming. If you want to get max results in traffic for each article, I suggest you to use guest posting method on high traffic blogs - under 100,000 ranking at Alexa. Then you insert your link into the guest post. Make sure that article is original, unique, high quality, readable and copyscape 100%.

    • Don,

I found something relevant that I wrote as a post in another thread. Study the 11-step plan below and test it out in case you decide it's worth your while:

      1. Go to Technorati's blog directory. Find the category that's closely related to your niche. Click the sub category that's even more relevant to your niche.

      2. Choose five or so blogs. TIP: Go with blogs operated by one-man teams or small businesses.

      3. Go to Compete.Com. Check out the traffic estimates of the blogs you chose. Zone in on three blogs with significant traffic estimates.

      4. Go to each of those blogs. List down trending categories, sub categories, topics, sub topics, titles and sub headers of the most recent and/or most popular posts in those blogs. Choose those that are related to your niche, but aren't exactly about your target micro niches.

      5. Go to Magazine.Com. Click the category that's closely related to the topics/sub topics/titles/sub headers you chose in number 4.

      6. Choose two to three hot magazines under your chosen category. List down the headlines in the recent issues of those magazines, especially the cover stories, more so those that are closely related to the topics/titles/sub headers you chose in number 4 above.

      7. From those headlines, generate creative title and topic/sub topic ideas, considering what would best serve as follow-up posts to the most recent and/or most popular posts you chose in number 4 above. Formulate those ideas into attention-grabbing headlines, keeping in mind how those magazines created the headlines of their cover stories and other sections, since these magazines implement extensive market research to come up with topic ideas and employ professional copywriters to develop those headlines.

      8. Write a 12 to 15-page report about one of those headlines you created, particularly a headline that will best grab the attention of your target viewers and entice them to subscribe to your mailing list to get your report. Post your report as a content download upon mailing list subscription via your squeeze page. Develop short and sweet "trailer" content for your squeeze page that will entice your target viewers to get your report by subscribing to your mailing list.

      9. Write three detailed articles about controversial headlines you created in number 7 above. Post it in your website. A link to your squeeze page should be visible when your target viewrs are reading these articles. Share it in your social networks, in the blog communities you hang out in and in relevant Web forums where you participate as a contributing member.

      10. When the articles in your website have been indexed, submit it (of course with your byline and links in place) to EZA, and/or to Directory of Ezines or in other niche-relevant article directories with significant active publisher bases. Wait until the articles are published in those article directories. List down the URLs of your published articles.

      11. Go to the "Contact Us" pages of the blogs you chose in number 2 above. Take note of their contact details, such as email, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Skype and so on. Contact them and "convince" them to syndicate your articles --

      (a) EMAILS = You can paste the content of your articles in the body of your emails and tell them that those articles are published in the specific article directories where you submitted it for syndication, to remind them that it's ready for syndication. Remember, people don't usually open emails with attachments from complete strangers, and most don't click links as well.

      (b) TWITTER/FACEBOOK/SKYPE/ETC. = Links are fine, just introduce yourself first as a friendly reader of their blogs, then entice them to look at your articles and inform them that they can syndicate it on their blogs for the benefit of their readers.

OPTIONAL: You can also contact them, entice them to syndicate your articles, or give them a choice by telling them that you can write exclusive content that they can use on their blogs, especially in instances where they tell you that they only accept exclusive content and you can funnel significant volumes of targeted traffic from their blogs to your website, via those guest posts...

      That's it. Hope this helps...

    Hi GuyDon!

    Do you own a blog?

    1. Submit them there first (and wait for them to be indexed)

    2. Join the articles section here at the W.F. to funnel some targeted traffic back to your target sites etc.

    3. Link your blog posts to a FaceBook Fan Page to get even more traffic.

    4. Look for high traffic related blogs to your niche and ask them if they would like to receive FREE content from you in exchange for a link bcak to your site.

Hope these tips help and good luck my friend!!!

    Hi GuyDon!

Your idea is great but I think in the perspective of link building, using syndication software like Article Samurai which requires spinning still plays a major role in search engine ranking. This allows you to generate tons of backlinks in just a short amount of time as opposed to syndicating 1 article per day.

As long as you have a quality article with the right diversity of links and anchor texts, ranking in terms of off-page optimization will be great for you.

The first thing after writing the article is to search for high pr directory and submit there. Due to the amount of time article writing takes, i suggest you also do guest posting.

    Hi Don,

Simple, in one sense: just "have it published in front of as many targeted readers as possible".

Oooh, that's an enormous number of articles!

That's more than I've ever had (in a month) for my entire business, which is now 4 years old and covers 8 different, unrelated niches in total. Are you sure you need so many?

Remember that successful article marketing isn't about the number of articles you have: it's about who reads them. And that's the time-consuming part of the equation: getting them published in front of already-targeted traffic. There's not much point in paying for them and then not doing that!

Don't just publish them and then look for ways for the traffic to go to them. You need to do it the other way round: publish them where the traffic already goes (after first having them indexed on your own site, obviously). That's typically the difference between making a living and not making a living.

Well, it depends exactly what you mean by "pre-selling". I don't try to "pre-sell" anything other than "visit my site" in articles. Not many people are going to publish an article that looks like a "marketing article, pre-selling something". And without having your articles re-published by people (ezine editors/webmasters/newsletter- compilers/whoever) with existing access to the exact pre-targeted traffic you want to attract, they're not going to get you very far, because the only places you'll get them published are places you can submit them yourself! (Those aren't mostly going to be places very relevant to your niche, and their backlinks aren't typically going to be worth a lot, either. All of which is, of course, why "article directory marketing" doesn't work too well. To put it mildly).

We get the occasional law quality post here from our Senior Warrior Attorney friend, but he's no spammer, for sure. You certainly wouldn't want to use anything spun; no, indeed.

To get the most traffic from a single article you have to maintain the following criteria:

    1. Write a high quality and relevant article your product.

    2. Place the anchor text properly so that the visitors can easily find it.

    3. Before submit it to a blog or site make sure about the traffic at the blog.

You can check traffic from compete.com, Quantcast and also try to find out how many comments are there in each post, which gives you the idea about the popularity of the blog.

    4. Post the link of the article to as many social networking site as possible like Facebook, Twitter etc to make it viral, so that more & more people will come to your blog.

For single article we can submitted at least 15 to 20 sites, and article submissions are very helpful technique to get traffic, if we do this exercise regularly then people will wait for your article. So do this on regular basis.

With the one article you can not only submit it to article sites, but you can convert the article into video, slides/presentation, audio...for further distribution.

For any given viable niche, there are thousands or even hundreds of thousands of potential publication outlets. Just a few articles syndicated or distributed widely to relevant ezines, websites, blogs, offline publications, etc can drive torrential floods of highly convertible traffic.

I have come across the fact that many SEO Company and people submit one article to many places, but as a matter of fact SEO is all about relevancy, uniqueness and quality.

Submit one article to a single place and make sure the site where you are posting your articles have great traffic.

If you are submitting your article to a blog make sure that the blog should updates on a regular basis with fresh content and when was the last time an article has been published and how many comments it has received etc. etc, which can give you an idea that how much worth it is to publish your article on that particular blog or site.
