How to do Keyword Research for YouTube?

Is there a WSO that teaches keyword research for YouTube? I tried searching but came up empty handed.

      take a look at what other top vids are using.
      use this as well. https://ads.youtube.com/keyword_tool
      Not sure if you are talking about ranking in Google SERPs
      or just getting vid. up there.

        That is as well very helpful while promoting.


        Both of this works and when doing keyword research you need to rely on multiple tools to do your research and then slowly use all the available tools to make your marketing decisions.

    Hi Sam Dunning!

    Keyword research for Google and Youtube are quite the same. I suggest that you use application software like Marketing Samurai. In this software you can check out the relevance of each keyword based on the youtube market. You could also assess the traffic and competition level of each keyword. Once you identified the right keyword for you, everything will be fine as ranking in Youtube is much easier compared to Google.
