Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate your help, Can anyone please give a me an example of what the pages of a minisite should be like?

I am trying to create on, I am not sure how it is linked to for example a blog site. I am using Optimize press for the sales page, squeeze and now adding the blog option to expand my site. In terms of the blog how many pages should this have?

Can I then have adsense on my blog too?

Moving on from that. Say I have my sales page set, how do I then introduce my blog? Do I do this after people have opted in by email? or Is it a stand alone to which I write good content then let it be an entity by itself?

I also would like to know, what is a sales funnel as compared to what is described above?

You've asked some pretty big questions that can have very detailed answers, but I'll try and break it down as best as I can.

A mini-site would basically have a few sections. For example if you make a website about exercising. You could have a section on workouts, supplements, gym locations, and tips. Just a few things...hence the "mini"

Then, if you want to link your blog with your mini-site...it could just flow as the front page - or you can have it separate. For example, you could talk about your workouts on the blog, then have the static mini-site pages. As for number of pages on your blog - it really depends on your goals and what your readers expect. More than likely, at least a weekly post....so...just depends on it's age for how many pages it will be. Yes, you can use adsense on it.

Squeeze page, I would just leave separate.

I'm kind of confused about your Sales Page and Blog linking question....but, why wouldn't you want people to see your blog prior to buying your product? You'll want people to read your blog, get to know you, know what to expect from your product prior to purchasing. So, I wouldn't "hide" it or wait for them to opt-in to something.

The only thing I would leave as a stand alone is the squeeze page. Everything else, mini-site, blog, sales page - all together in the same place with easy to use navigation and a clean design.

A sales funnel is generally via your email list. Since they're subscribed to you, trust you, etc. You offer them products from time to time. Maybe a more expensive/in-depth 2nd version of a previous one, a new product, a simpler product. It's just your email list and way too contact customers to offer more products.

You have been all too helpful!! Thank you for taking the time to reply and be so detailed. Would a wordpress blog site sufficient as a minisite/blog? I guess that is what I meant.

I read and was told to create my sales page and test it by sending traffic to it. I then did further digging only to find out that google frowns upon single sales pages. So, I decided to extend that by adding a blog. To command a little authority in the niche and for longevity.

I then decided to write up some seo KW based articles. To which can be monetized with adsense. I am beginning to think I'm trying to do too much at once? I have it in my head to take action!!! and so I may be on a rampage with it.

      Thanks again for the information.

No problem, glad to be of help!

Yes, a Wordpress site would cover your blog, mini-site, and sales page.

And, there is a lot to do! Especially with launching something new and when learning. So you're right to feel like you're "on a rampage!"

Just one thing to keep in mind - don't just focus on SEO and pleasing the search engines. No matter how "happy" a search engine is, it's not going to buy anything from you. Be sure to provide value to real people and make them happy - the search engines will follow.
