Does anyone know of a reliable host tracking system?
Hi all,
I am considering signing up as an affiliate with a web site, but when I check their site at random times (just a few minutes before I sent the email yesterday), it is down - pages don't load. I sent an email to them and this is their response, which I believe means they don't know they still have a problem.

Thanks for considering us an affiliate. We did have a few issues earlier in the month with our database getting stuck and we've resolved those issues now. Overall we've had 99.73% uptime with our website monitoring site: host-tracker.com since we started monitoring it over a year ago. Outside of the issue we had earlier in the month, we've not received complaints about being able to access the site. Please let us know if you are still getting this issue. We hope to be your affiliate as we feel we've collected the web's most extensive resources for xxxx. Thanks.

I haven't written them back - I wanted to tell them that the problem lies with host-tracker.com - that it only checks for small bits of information from the website. I want to use them as an affiliate, but I want their website to be up all the time. I would like to suggest to them a better, more reliable tracking system, and why host-tracker isn't good enough. I don't have much knowledge in this, and would be really appreciative if anyone has a better system they can use, and that I could suggest to them. Of course, they may not care. And they may really want to know, too.
