Anyone else having issues with GetResponse email deliverability?

Hi everyone.

I never had this problem before, but for some reason GetResponse has stopped sending follow up messages to my subscribers. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with responsiveness. I've manually signed up two emails I use on my webform and checked both their inboxes and their junk folders to see if they'll receive a follow-up message, only to discover that they haven't received any. It's been almost a full day now and the message hasn't appeared anywhere yet.

I've then tried testing a follow up message using the 'test' feature, but that didn't work either.

I've launched an ad campaign where I've received 13 opt-ins (real people) only to have a 0% open rate from all of them (while bearing in mind that this had never happened before).

Finally, I've sent a support ticket to GetResponse's help desk, but I didn't receive a confirmation email in my inbox as I usually do with almost every other service.

It almost seems as if GetResponse has temporarily lost its ability to send emails. Is anyone else having these same issues?

Thanks
Omar K

I just did a test email through the test function and also set up a fake account through one of my single opt in and one of my double opt in forms ... everything is working well on my end.

Are you using a paid subscription? The reason I ask is if you are using the 30 day trial and your 30 days is up .. that might provide an answer.

I am on a bunch of my own lists as tests (with all different e-mail clients). I don't open the mails, click or whitelist. I just see where they are going.

At the moment, GR is bang-on with delivery (especially compared with some other services I have accounts with). No probs at my end.

I have never had email deliverability issues with GR although clearly your case needs to be looked at and ironed out. However, as always Jim is on hand to deal with it you don't get this kind of assistance with similar providers like Aweber.

    Keep at it Jim!

Hmm. That is a little odd. I tried once more but I'm still not receiving anything. (And yes, I am on a paid subscription btw).

There is a queue on the live chat at the moment, so I'll just wait and see if the issue solves itself tomorrow morning before I visit the chat again.

    Thanks for the support, Jim!

PM me your email address and details of problem and I'll forward it on to support personally if you like. It's possible this is a very isolated incident, but let's get on it and get it sorted out for you!

I tested my campaigns and follow-up messages a couple of minutes ago and GR is working just fine. The newsletter I scheduled also went out...
Omar, call the helpdesk - there's always a solution.

  • Just ran a test on a follow-up and the emails were delivered almost immediately. I'm pretty happy with GetResponse so far.

I've just found out I've received an email from the GR support team and they've told me they're having issues with deliverability to hotmail.com. The email landed in my junk folder so I've only seen it a little late.

The issue seems to be resolved I think since all the test emails I've sent last night have been received all at once this morning.

Thank you for the ongoing support!

      Hi Omar,

Ah the dreaded spam filter! That was the culprit! Glad to hear you did get a response!

Thanks for the good humour and patience Omar!

Get Response isn't the only one, two other BIG names in email are or were recently having deliverability issues. I think something must be going on with these domains such as hotmail that are causing this. Not the email services.

Have been having some major deliverability issues with Gmail and Hotmail from GR. Spent one day trying to test a creative to get it to my inbox, no luck. tried over 30 times and variations. Took that same initial creative to MailChimp. Delivered right into the inbox at Gmail and Hotmail with no problem at all.

I'm spending quite a bit at GR and now looking to make the switch...

      Anyone else seeing this?

If you are having any issues then contact our support team. We've got a great support team who can help you clear up issues with your account. Currently I'm not aware of any issues and as you can see from above most others are not having issues either.

    http://support.getresponse.com

That should be your first step if you have questions or concerns. We can't help if we don't hear from you.

If you have contacted support and still have issues pm me so I can follow up.
