Hey guys so I register on WF a long time ago when I first was looking into affiliate marketing.

However I didn't really post anything and really was not part of the community until now. I currently have a lot of interest in being a affiliate.

Now I am a bit lost, I have made money with ClickBank before and was very happy to do it. However I would like some input on where to start.

What I have done so far is pick a few products to promote and bought 2 domain names so I can redirect my affiliate link so it looks a lot more professional and normal then a long nasty link from CB.

However I am currently promoting 5 or so products from CB and some I did not buy a domain for, I am currently using eleavers and see a lot of traffic but no conversions. I also used Fivver and got a tweet out to about 150K twitter followers which lead to 250 hops to one of my products with not even one of those visitors to go to the buy page. I am also trying to use Facebook to advertise some of my products with 0 conversion as well as of now.

Where do I start what do I need to change?

Can anyone give me a good idea on where to go about this and where should I be spending my time?

Should I buy another domain or start a blog then do some SEO and try selling products???

Please let me know...

I suggest setting up a simple blog and some squeeze pages with sales funnels to promote affiliate or PLR products.

For instance, you could buy some ads and drive visitors to your squeeze page. When they opt-in, send them to a OTO for a low priced ebook (PLR). Then follow up with your autoresponder and offer more PLR or affiliate products over time.

This is a bare-bones description but it gives you the main idea. Post any further questions you might have.

      Not without proper training.

You would be better off buying sitewide ads on related websites. What niches are you promoting? That will help determine what will work best for you.

One thing to keep in mind as well, that clickbank is not the only game in town. There are plenty of alternative affiliate programs with better conversions, much lower refund rates and even instant commissions. I've never had much luck with clickbank as far as converting. Maybe it's just me. You probably could have made more money (least some) sending that traffic to WSO pro offers.

Also, I hate to say it but the traffic you purchase might be junk. If you think about it, $5 for 150k tweets. If it sounds to good...

Same people probably blast many other ads. Hits you got might even be bots or automation. Just saying.

You'd could have higher quality traffic from articles or video marketing.

You've made money before? Then just rinse and repeat what you were doing.

Not a bad idea at all

Well no surprises there, you basically got low quality untargeted traffic. If I send 100k people who hate sweets into a sweet shop, will many of them buy sweets? Common sense in marketing prevails my friend!

Figure out how you made money before with Clickbank and duplicate those steps. Focus on 1 or 2 products first and make some moolah before you jump to 6 or 7 simultaneous projects.
Hope that helps, you need to go back to the drawing board my friend

Abul, thanks for the reply but back in the day I was using Craigslist to promote CB products but now I need a domain to link but still have shitty conversions for some reason its like everyone has seen the promotions on CL.

My niche is internet money, like surveys...I also have interest in promoting diet guides.

Here's a tip, the quickest form of quality traffic is paid traffic. Forget doing 5 different projects and focus on one. Focus 100% on 1 project, than focusing 20% on each 5 projects.

Pick a niche that you're interested in and one that has an established market, then build an AUTHORITY website around that niche.

The days of fast cash through SEO [free] traffic are over.

Think of this as a business. As a new store owner, you would focus on building one successful store before opening 5 stores simultaneously.

Pick a niche and build your web-store, one you can be proud of and one where your visitors will keep on coming back for more.

You are going to lose everything you invest without experience.

      Good luck.

I suggest you to stop at first and think about your plan. If you think that you are ready and you can do the whole thing, tolerate all the hassles then start reading this forum regularly. Within a few weeks you will be able to learn a lot about affiliate marketing. Then you should start working.
