You are NEW in IM, you tried to MAKE MONEY, and you failed again and again?

Sounds normal to me? Doesn't it?

If you are new then you better try to learn more about IM, learn how both research and promotion work (especially for clickbank). Then, you can try to invest money. You will probably fail. Few times though. However, if you keep trying, you will see the result.

How much money do you have to spend on a mentor? I doubt anyone (especially me) will want to work for free.

If you dont have money to spend, dont want to work, and dont want to learn and implement techniques... lol... go and sell on ebay.

Been there done that, but look, you're starting a business

You're asking business people to help you

Their time and experience have value.

Pick something in which you have an interest
That way you already know about it
Sell your own product or become an affiliate through Clickbank or some other affiliate manager
        Get a blogger account
See Starting Your On-Line Business? Here's Where to Get Help for some basic directions
Place your affiliate link with a presell on your blog
Now discuss it in forums, facebook, twitter etc
Don't sell directly on social media
This is why you pick something in which you have an interest

DO NOT just use the affiliate link use a blogger account
Sign up for google adsence once you have your post posted on your blogger account
        Put your adsense on there

The other members are giving good advice, follow it and it will save you some time, I am new to this and I am learning mainly on my own, but it is unrealistic to think someone is going to invest their time on you for nothing, but as you see most of them will point you in the right direction, I am not being critical here but your statements and "this world owes me something" sentiment doesn't set well with others and those newbies with that mindset really only accomplish 2 things...........(1) Piss people off because when they reach out you are ungrateful (2) you make it harder on the other newbies, because the experienced people here deal with guys like us all the time and the ungrafetful newbies put a bad taste in their mouth. The successful people have already been down the road we are going and they have failed before and while they will save you some time don't expect them to feel sorry for you. In a way it is a rite of passage, and if you don't do the research and have at least the basic idea of what you want to do then NO ONE is going to take you serious. I been doing various things for about 2 and half years and up until 3 months ago I had not made any consistent money, even now it isn't great but I average about $ 300 month, and here is the kicker I learned how to do that from following free information in a tread. Do yourself a favor and look around learn what you can, take advice from those willing to give it to you and by all means be grateful they helped, save some money and look around for a training course or mentor to help, but this is going to hard as well finding the right course and/or mentor so do the research. I have bought numerous WSO's and even paid for some one on one courses, and while I have learned something from about 70% of them, there is none of them I would reccomend as the definitive go to. Here again I am not bashing anybody b/c as stated I learned something from most of them, but what I am saying is this; in the end it going cost money to establish a business, get used to it. It is a fact, when you chose the training course or mentor do your home work on them as well to ensure you are getting what you are paying for and above all take action, more times than not you are going to fail, but learn from it. IM is like any other business there is a learning curve, best you can do is try and shorten it.

Do you have any website ? Because if you want to make money through online you must have a website where you pre sell the clickbank products. Working hard is nice but you have to invest some money also in some basic essential things like domain & hosting.

What do you want to do with click bank? Do you want to create products or do you want to be an affiliate of clickbank product ?
There are so many categories on CB, what categories are you interested in?
    Do you have any website?
    What skill do you have?

If you are not sure about what you want to do you should find out ( try to find your interest)
For example if your interested in Golf or what ever you like try to see if there is a market and got for it.

learn on this forum. If you have any question ask here.

and Understand that it might take you a lot of failure before being successful.

It took me two years and half before living from it.

So, be motivate and focus in what you've chosen.

Well, I think I can help you with your problem but you need to take action.

1: Go to Google and search for "jv notify pro" and create a free account.
2: Now browse for the new coming launches (find products that will be live after one month)
3: Sign up for the product jv page and collect data about the product (you can ask for a review copy or buy the product or you can contact the author and ask for more details)
4: Now, go to You Tube and create a channel and upload a review video about the product.
5: Build some backlinks to your video and it will rank on Google.
6 You will get some sales when the people search for the product review.

I hope that helps. thank you.

    That's the starting!
let me tell you if I would start as an affiliate today.

1- I will pick up a product that I'm interested in. That I can really give review and talk about that.
2- I will study my market to see if there is a potential of making money, who are my potential prospect, keyword and where are hanging out.

3- find a good affiliate product on CB or other.

    4-make a site(that talk to my Prospect).

5- go where they are hanging out ( facebook or some other place) and start generating traffic.
    6- generating traffic.

    7- generating traffic.

8- be consistent in what traffic way you have chosen to do.

Make mistake learn from that and never give up even though it might be difficult some time.
    good luck!

No you don't. You need an attitude transplant.

Firstly - you don't "need" anything. You "would like" someone to help you - and if you'd asked politely, explaining what you've tried and what your skills/experience are you might have got more answers.

Secondly - sniperdomi has given you all the information you need to get started. If you can't/won't do what he suggests then IM is not for you.

To be self-employed and run your own business you have to be willing and able to take the initiative. If you can't even follow step 1 of his advice and find a product that you are interested in, then there really isn't any hope for you.

fallen, a long time ago, I kept pestering my friend who knew how to make money online.

I kept bugging the guy, and he eventually told me some golden nuggets, but he was ultimately pissed off and I burned a bridge.

Now this was a long time ago, and he wasn't a newbie with basic marketing tips; he had a "crazy" method that worked unfathomably.

I learned something there; if my good friend who thought I was cool, was pissed that I asked him about his money making secrets, how are complete strangers going to feel?

Fast forward 15 years, and I've had people (friends) ask me the same questions, and fascinatingly enough, some people act as though that I owe them the information. (crazy how things work huh)

The moral of the story is, you can't ask people to give away golden nuggets without offering something, especially if you don't even know them.

Of course people can steer you in the right direction, but very few will give a stranger the keys to the farm.

The best advice I can give to you, is to learn how to drive traffic to your target money site. (Hopefully that's a squeeze page. Email marketing is a key variable of your success).

It's not going to happen overnight, but education is the most valuable asset and reading comprehension is worth a pot of gold.

That's all you need to learn. Learn how to drive traffic. Focus on that, and that only.

Clarity is a HUGE part of IM success. It's so simple when you know it -- and darn difficult when you don't! I owe my mentors a world of thanks for bringing this clarity.

IM is actually pretty simple: you can sell only one of two things:

    1. Products
    2. Services

    That's it!

And selling products or services online happens in the same basic way for everyone, no matter what they're selling:

    Traffic > Opt-in page > Autoresponder series (or e-zine) > Sales page

That's it! It's just that simple. (We IMers tend to overcomplicate things.)

But no matter what your niche is, or whether you're selling a product or a service, do you know what your business model is?

A business model is the framework or skeleton of your business. Essentially there are three types of online business models:

    1. Membership-based model

A membership-based business model allows you to build a community of people (your members) who are as passionate about your subject as you are. Your membership fees can be monthly or annual, but either way, you're building recurring, passive income.

There are a lot of resources and information out there to help you build a membership-based business if you're interested in doing this.

    2. Product-based model

Selling products allows you to maximize your time and effort by selling items over and over again. This can be hard goods or it can be information products. Information marketing is it's own business model under the product-based model. Information marketing allows you to take your brain to the bank by creating a product ONCE based on what you know and selling it over and over again.

    3. Service-based model

Selling services can be great for 1) generating quick cash (as in the case of article writing or video producing) and 2) establishing your expertise and getting testimonials.

(Affiliate marketing falls under both models. You can choose to market either products or services as an affiliate.)

However, in the long run, your goal should be to offer services at a PREMIUM. The biggest advantage of IM is LEVERAGE. You're able to leverage your time, money and expertise exponentially online. We all have just 24 hours each day. Time to get ruthless about what you expect for those hours you spend in IM each day. Expect more of yourself and more from your business friends, clients, partners, etc.

What results are you getting for those hours you spend online each day? Ultimately, your services should be at the bottom of your funnel and cost the most since they involve your time and personal attention. (We all have a limited amount of time each day.)

The fun (and confusion) comes in with all of the endless mix-and-match possibilities of the above models. If you're just starting or still struggling to make money, keep it simple:

    Pick just ONE!

    1. Pick ONE niche. (Something you're interested in and know something about.)

    2. Pick ONE target market for your product or service. (Who will buy what you're offering? The more specific you are, the more you narrow it down, the more successful you'll be.)

    3. Pick ONE business model.

Now that you're clear about what business you're in, FOCUS! (And stop buying any info not related to your niche and target market, period!)

    F -- Follow
    O -- One
    C -- Course
    U -- Until
    S -- Successful

And remember: build a list, Build a List, BUILD A LIST!

In IM, it's easy to put the cart before the horse. Take a deep breath, step back and consider what type of business you REALLY want. Don't worry about getting traffic or buying that expensive traffic product until you know 1) what your business model is, 2) what niche you're in and 3) WHO your target market is!

Successful business people will tell you that MARKETING is more than half the effort that's needed for success anyway. So pick a niche, target market and business model. Then spend most of your time and effort marketing it.

If you DON'T have a solid plan or system, THAT'S when it's hard. A good system will shave YEARS (and save you big $$$) off of your learning curve

That's why I recommend investing in at least one good, comprehensive IM course (or mentor who will give you such a system) instead of jumping from one $37 e-book to the next. A lot of people here complain about not being able to make any money. But neither are they willing to invest in their business. (Buying a random bunch of $37 e-books doesn't count.)

The best thing I ever did was invest in a comprehensive IM course aimed at REAL business owners, not just other IM wannabes. Yes it was $1500. (It's no longer available.) But it was truly some of the best A-Z IM info I ever bought. Everything else I've learned (from the $37 e-books) since has simply been plugged into this system.

Get a solid plan or system and then work the plan!

    Hope this helps!

      Michelle
      I second this.

I would add another plan, build an authority site in one niche and from there (after you generate traffic and a good reputation) you can use niche related cpa, physical products, click bank products then create your own product.

      Here is an example:

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I recommend finding a good comprehensive course on IM. Do a Google search for e-books and courses on success with Clickbank. I'm sure they're out there.

You seem to be wanting someone to take you by the hand here and walk you step by step through how to make money with a weight loss product from Clickbank. That's not going to happen on a forum. (Not typically anyway.) Forums are best for brief answers to questions or for pointers in the right direction and recommendations. You still have to buy and study the info on your own. If you want a step by step plan, that's what e-books are courses are for.

However, I already see a couple of red flags for you:

        1. You say you have no money. I DO get that. However, you need to treat this like a business and be willing to spend some money.

You really CAN start in IM with a shoestring budget. But I don't think you can truly operate with NO budget. And as you're finding out, the most important thing you can buy is the right information to help you succeed.

The smaller your budget, the more willing you have to be to do A LOT of legwork (research) to do what you want to do. IM isn't hard per se, but there's a steep learning curve. If you're unwilling to do most of the research on your own, you've got a HUGE problem.

        2. You say you want to sell a weight loss product from Clickbank.

This is a recipe for failure without some MAJOR tweaking.

As you noted, the market is HUGE. Your idea is way too broad and general. If you try to be general and be all things to all people, you WILL fail. You'll be lost in a sea of competition, which is the kiss of death. You need to narrow your niche -- A LOT. As I mentioned earlier, the narrower and more specific your niche, the more successful you will be.

If you knew anything about marketing, you'd know all of this. There's nothing wrong with not knowing anything about marketing, especially if you're new. There IS something wrong with staying uneducated about marketing.

As I mentioned, you need to study Internet marketing, period. Find and buy a good course on it. It will save you a TON of time, money, and frustration in trying to figure it all out -- and then being frustrated because you keep failing. A good marketing education will help you no what matter what product, service or niche you choose in the future.

My first book is all about online marketing. I laid out a step-by-step plan for marketing any product or service online. At just $20, it's MUCH less expensive than many of the IM courses out there. You can see it at Boost Business Online: How to Attract More...Boost Business Online: How to Attract More...

You seem like you're looking for quick and "easy" money in IM. Unfortunately, there is no quick or easy money in IM. It's actually a lot of work -- and requires a lot of time, study and research.

Like all of us, if you want success in IM, you will have to pay the price.

As others have said 3 fundamental steps to make money online are:

    1. Find a profitable niche: you already have (weight loss)
    2. create a one page website (squeeze page), add an opt in form - to collect the names and email addresses of people that visit your website (Your list)
    3. Promote related products to your list they you think would be helpful

Key here is to not sell directly to them - but form a relationship with them by giving free good quality content - then sprinkle sales messages in between them.

Just keep on learning and keep on testing! You might have failed because you did not do enough research before starting your campaign?

I sometimes fail but I usually get a little amount more than the money I invested. So it's a win-win situation for me because I got my money back then I learned something from the experience. It's better than losing money and never have a chance to try again because you no longer have funds.

So try to do enough research before starting your campaign and you'll surely see results.
