Hello guys,

I have created a website called Succeed in Betting/Gambling. Winning in Every Way
I thought this was the only way to make money online, make a website, get it page 1, build a list from sign up page, send them emails getting them to buy affiliate products. I thought that was the only way so I started to try it out.

I feel that making a website and such just isn't my thing. I like using money to make money. Ways like PPC and making products to sell on clickbank or something.

I am really lost now, I don't know what to do. Should I continue with succeedbets? I have only had it for about a week. I really don't know what to do. I tried researching more but it just confuses me even more.

Can someone help me out please? I want to make internet marketing work for me no matter what.

I would suggest to go with what you like most. If you want to try PPC or selling info products then go for it, and leave your betting site, either sell it or just leave it till you get some better idea of using it.

You'll waist time by working on your site if your heart's not into it. So better do what you want to do, you'll find success in it.

How can I use PPC to make money though? Will I still need to use a website? I was going to make ads on adwords, adcentre etc but they don't accept ads about betting/gambling. What should I do? Do you think this site is worth anything?

Gambling type sites are hard to promote, as most places they are taboo.

Build a squeeze page and buy some ads to drive traffic. Research to see where you can find cheap traffic. Give away a freebie and direct subscribers to a OTO, then follow up with your autoresponder.

That is a basic outline but it is a simple way to get started.

Should I just delete everything currently on my website and just make it into a squeeze page? And on it just say I'm giving something away for free and all that bull shit to get people to enter their E-mail then just drive traffic there? Is that good?

Well, if you like making money by spending money then you could definitely outsource everything from website/product creation to funnel setup - though you would need to find an experienced person, but to be honest it doesn't have to be hard to do it by yourself. I suggest you buy a sales theme like optimize press for your site. I'm sure you can find someone to write articles for your site on the warrior forum as well as get you to page 1 (Matt LaClear). But only after you fix your site can you start playing with PPC so you don't waste your money by sending your traffic to an unfocused landing page.

    Hi Bartnova!

Are you looking to build a list in a new niche?

Or do you want to know whether to use a squeeze page or blog or both?

You should always look to allow people to join your email list from your blog anyway!

Using a squeeze page for paid advertising is always a good idea so you can always offer an OTO to try and make some of the advertising costs back.

It all depends on what niche you are in I suppose and I would test, test and then some more first!

    The numbers never lie!

Hope this helps and have a fantastic day my friend!!!

I want to know if I should continue with a website I dislike. Would it be effective if I were to get rid of everything on it keep the domain and make it into a squeeze page and drive paid traffic there and hopefully get sales from opt-in lists and an auto responder with a OTO and an affiliate link with it

You should learn list building and all that "BS."

There is more to it than what you apparently think. Take the time to learn it and you can make money. Look at it as "BS" and you should just forget marketing.

You just not mentioned how old is your site and you have to check visitors on it also. As some time it is hard to make gambling site. But there is a way you can start a bit earning from your site that you start making some content on it like blogs. Start writing hope that will work with you.

I'm in the betting niche myself and I must say, I do quite like the squeeze page you have here: Sign up | Betting and Gambling

I would recommend, if you like PPC, then consider promoting JUST the squeeze page, get people on your list, then create products to sell to them.

    Good luck whatever you choose!

I was planning to do that but then I recently found out that the PPC sites wont accept my ads because they're about betting and gambling.

Seems like you are not interested in niche you are targeting - Suggestion - Find something you Love the Most and Have Earning Potential (see if there are products selling around) and focus on that...

In this way you will work from inside and with passion without trolling around in circles...

I just posted this for someone else but it will help you to formulate a plan and get to your true passion. Obviously what you're doing now isn't your passion.

First and foremost figure out what type of person you are. What I mean by that is are you the type of person that needs to be motivated when it gets tough? Are you the type of person who has a short attention span? Are you the type of person that gets bored easily?

These questions are all important and will guide you in a specific direction as far as choosing the type of business you want to begin with in the first place, like info product creation, affiliate marketing, email marketing, CPA marketing, and so on.

So, determine what type of person you are and then figure out in detail what it is you want to accomplish.

Saying you want to make money is not detailed enough. Everyone wants to make more money and stay home all day working on their business instead of going to work but what makes your dreams different?

What is it you really want?

Once you have that part of the equation your next task is to figure out where you're interests are. What drives you? What are you most passionate about? What knowledge do you have?

Be specific and write down everything no matter how trivial or simple it may seem. Then go back over your list and think that if you could only pick ONE thing what would most likely succeed in the shortest amount of time possible. You may have to do a little research into that market but it's necessary. Figure out what's being sold, how it's being sold, etc...

Go figure those things out first then come back here and post it (minus the market you have selected) so we can better help guide you in the right direction.

PS. This is just the start of developing a plan... After you have worked out your answers and reasons why then it`s time to plan a simple strategy. Then finally getting down to actually carrying out your plan...

I believe I'm the type of person who wants to do everything perfectly so in the long run it all works out. I don't want to rush into it and make a few quick bucks, I want to learn it fully and understand it all not just listen to what others say to do and blindly follow. I am motivated to do what is needed to be done but I have trouble choosing what the right path is. I don't get bored easily, I can stick to what I'm doing.

I don't like building websites, maybe it's just because the first website I tried to make (succeedbets) was about something I had no interest in. Product creation is out of the question, I could never have enough imagination to come up with good products. Affiliate marketing seems fine and so does email marketing. However the only ways I can think of doing those 2 is with a website which I may dislike. However if I were to start a website all over again on a subject I'm fond on, perhaps it'll become something I love doing.

I have an idea of what I'm interest in, they are things I read about constantly just for fun.

I want to start over again with the things I love, but firstly I want to make succeedbets work and gain knowledge and hopefully some profit so I can have at least a bit of funding for my next website.

I would not call following Warrior forum seniors as being blindly following. But Where on the same track as far as wanting to learn things first before anything.

Maybe this is a kinda dumb question, but somehow I don't think so. You want to succeed in IM, yet you're telling folk how to "succeed in betting/gambling . . . winning in every way".

This sucks of yet another novice marketeer dishing out crap advice. If you are SO successful at gambling, why on earth do you need to peddle your (dubious) service to others. In any case, as any gambler knows, too many people with the right information significantly lowers the betting odds.

Why don't people just get it? I thought wrong, I didn't think I'd have to have knowledge in the market I was trying to sell to. I made that website just to sell affiliate products, do you see any true content on there which will make the reader money? No. I made it to SELL the affiliate products not to actually help them. That was a mistake, I know.

As do I. I just don't believe that PPC is the way to go. There are many ways to make money by spending money, but some of them aren't even necessary. If I were to invest in anything I would simply spend it on a good Email List Building website like Aweber.

Plus PPC, I think, will not ultimately give you 'good' results. If you want some good results take up Article Marketing, and no I don't mean making an article, using a software to post it to 50 articles directories, spin it and repeat. That ultimately won't work due to Google's Panda update. Doing this now could possibly get your article de-indexed, which is a big no no. What I mean is building a relationship with your potential customers. Make articles post them to your site first to get them indexed there and then post them to EZA. Find publishers, webmasters, and bloggers to publish your articles and watch your traffic slowly rise.

Don't "Sell" in your articles either. You want to get publishers to re-publish your articles to their site, they don't want an article that is selling a product. They want an article that has useful information on whatever your niche is. You want to mention and have the link to your affiliate products on your site, not the article.

Also you don't want to promote an affiliate product that sucks either. When you build your list of customers, you want them to come back, right? Would you come back to a site that gave out a crap product? Be trustworthy. In the end in won't ever fail.

Hope I gave some good advice!

    -John
