Setting up an IM Site?

INTERNET MARKETING

If I am making money from IM, even if it is just a little bit, should I have a website set up to talk about SEO, Blogging, Amazon, Etc?

I would of course set up an opt in on this site, but is it worth it to start a site if I don't have my own product yet, just to report what programs I use, potentially inform people, maybe get some ad earnings, but WHEN I make it, then I already have a small following!

Please give me your thoughts?

P.S. SEO is very easy topic to guest blog on, so I know I can get traffic and backlinks with a lot less effort!

Wait till you make more money. Or else it will be like the blind leading the blind. The jig is up when people get a clue that your expertise is limited.......

  Well, I am not going to open a site selling stuff, just tracking my progress
  
  I make more than a lot of people do online just because I am persistant, and I also have extensive knowledge with oDesk earnings (over $500 part time some months!)

You can have a site without having your own product.

You can and should create your own newsletter so that you can follow up with your prospects on different offers.

Well with a website you can look more professional. Also building a list of your previous buyer it's a nice move.
