Hey guys, really starting to take things off with my sniper site and a few others that I'm playing around tweaking things with, and I'm slowly starting to see results. I've used several websites, done several social bookmarking sites, things like that.

I was curious what you guys do for anything that brings traffic to your site.

Programs, websites, any link building, on and off page optimization, anything.

All replies appreciated, thanks in advance!

I think any serious internet marketing campaign and effort would require all of the above (minus programs really) to have an effective business.

It would be hard for anyone to come in here and disclose their full marketing tactics and assault map but I can give you a basic rundown.

    *Site is launched*
    *Site is properly on-page SEOd*
*Site now stands and looks pretty waiting for Google to pass by*
*A slow but significant and steady off-page SEO campaign begins*
*The campaign gets larger as time progresses*
*Social media platforms are put in place to help off-page SEO*
*While this is going on, content is constantly being updated with fresh, exciting and quality content*

There's really a lot that goes on behind the scenes of a successful website but if you're looking for a cut and dry answer, I'm afraid a lot of people aren't going to want to answer that one as most magicians don't want to share their illusions with anyone.

For link building, try to get manual backlinks or your site will jailed by Google penguin update. Please do not boost your business site by software or bot.

Search google by manual link building service and try to get real people who are doing manually everything for online marketing.

    Thanks

Have you try Article marketing? It also helps to bring traffic to your site in long term. I submit articles to Ezine Articles.
Solo ads and PPC can be very effective but also very costly. For me, I do Article marketing, Forum Marketing, Blogging, Solo ads, etc.
I also invest on my education to improve my skill and knowledge on Internet marketing. It is not cheap to join their inner circle but I really really learn a lot of useful information and tips from there.

SEO, articles with backlinks, social media, and web 2.0. All the usual suspects. I have never used YouTube for traffic but I know other marketers who take that route.

For my site, i've been adding content once a week for the past year along side with on page seo. Around 4 months ago...My website finally started getting some organic traffic for some of the "make money online" keywords and it still gets this free traffic till today fortunately. Content building works quite well for my site i guess.

I do everything and everything. (And everything).

I've been at this a while, and learned to take things big. What do I mean really? Well, I buy tons of traffic, deploy tons of ads, track everything, split test, track again, add some more split testing, then improve.

Think like this. Anybody can find my site SE.O if they are looking for it. If they check out my link they may not follow thru, If I call them and guide them step by step through the process. It just might help.

Yeah I'm not really looking for anyone to be like "Here's exactly what I do", I don't expect that lol. But the general guideline is greatly appreciated. But great posts guys thank you for the replies I really appreciate it. I've done a little article marketing with free-press-release and have actually been really satisfied with the results, maybe I'll look into that a little further. I started a little bit with ezine but never really got too into it. Thank you for your time and posts everyone!

    sonixkid3000,

I'll be happy to tell you what we (Content Writing 360°) exactly do in our marketing to attract traffic with a pretty acceptable conversion rate (not too high, not too low).

    1. We write content that is conversational in tone and something that encourages comments and participation.
I think you know what I am saying here. We write headlines that encourage affirmations, comments and participations from our readers/viewers. It's not just hype. People have become wiser as compared to the old days. You just can't hook someone to believe in what you say through hype alone. Our style is to think ahead of what our readers might be thinking of when they read our posts. That way, we know at what angle we should attack the minds of our readers.

    2. We design our marketing materials.
This is in relation to the first point I mentioned above. I am not talking about articles that are written in MS Word or in Notepad that are just copied and pasted on the wall of our fan page. I personally use MS PowerPoint to design the background, add images, apply colors, and format the headlines. You know, people are interested to click something if it has an image and colorful text. That's what I have observed as far as social media marketing is concerned.

That's all for now. I hope it helps.

    1. Forum Posting
    2. Facebook
    3. Twittter
    4. SEO
    5. About to start using Pinterest

Basically I try a few methods - see which ones are doing better than focus my energy on them and ditch the ones that are not helping.

Not forgetting to build a blog... this is the foundation stone for everything:

    1. Social Media support.
    2. Authority building.
    3. Sales site.
    4. Affiliate sales.
    5. Build a list...

    Llwyddiant!

My marketing model is quite simple, and generally follows what may be considered "old school" marketing from this timely classic, Turn Words Into Traffic. This time-proven system can effectively drive torrential floods of highly convertible traffic, no matter how entrenched the competition may be.

Nearly all traffic to my sites is driven directly by article marketing, leveraged through syndication partners such as niche-relevant ezine publishers, blogs, websites, and offline publications including magazines, trade journals, newspapers, etc.

      In a nutshell:

Step #1 - You write an article on a topic of great interest to a targeted audience and then...

Step #2 - You get a few of the tens-of-thousands of ezine publishers on the Web (who by the way need articles desperately) to run your article to their thousands of subscribers.

Step #3 - Of those thousands of people who see your article, some will click on your link at the bottom of the article, visit your website, and purchase your products (or earn you commissions by purchasing other people's products through your affiliate links.)
