Calling all Site Flippers...

I just wanted to start this discussion as I'm listing my first site Friday. It's a facebook Like / Twitter Follower business-in-a-box site.

How have you been doing on flippa.com ?
How many sites do you flip a week?
What's your average profit per site?
Are you flipping non revenue / no traffic sites?
Are you flipping adsense only sites?

Anything else you'd like to add for extra motivation, please do.

I have sold one site on Flippa which wasn't generating revenue. Didn't earn a lot of money, just got $25 in profit. Well, that's much better then the alternative - closing the site.

I would recommend to have as detailed listing as possible, list you major benefits for the title. Fill out all the info possible to ensure you will get the maximum price for your site.

Yeah, you definitely want to spend the time thinking of every way to convey the big fat juicy POTENTIAL of the site - especially if its not generating revenue. Look at niche, domain, whether its riding a trend, etc.

The good thing about this business is that "People don't succeed cause they aim too high and miss, no, they aim too low... and hit. Most people don't aim at all." (Les Brown)

Not us... Not marketers. We live far above mediocrity. Always keep this in mind at all times..
