Amazon Site - Keep Building or Focus on SEO?

For the site in my sig, should I keep building (say to like 50 pages?) or should i leave it where it is and focus on the SEO (off page) now?

Also any suggestions for good off page SEO strategies? (yes I know this post is for the SEO forum, but the main question belongs here)

Thanks

You seem to lack a clear strategy or understanding of how affiliate marketing works.

    1. You can not keep building, just like buildings, there are finish stage. You should build your site fully first before promoting it.

    2. In some niches, it pays to build list..

    3. Do not rely on SEO hundred percent for traffic, it can take a while to get on the top 10 depending on your choice niche/keywords.

There are also lots of ways you can look at for promoting your amazon products like Videos and social media. Take advantage of this huge opportunity and get unlimited traffic to your site.

Sorry..this is not true in all cases.

If you have a website that is in constant growth, then there is no telling when it will be "done" This goes for review sites especially. Treat each review like a different site all together. Each should be promoted separately as they would deal with different products.

The easiest way to go about doing that is to make most of your "promotions" automated with WP plugins: for social bookmarking and pinging etc.

To be honest, if you did the proper keyword and product research this should all you actually need to get on the first page of Google, and sometimes even the first place.

If you chose some harder products to rank for then you will need to do some off page seo: backlinking. This can be article syndication, press releases, guest blogging, etc etc.

You need to put contents with proper keywords related to your Niche.
Follow Post Penguin method of writing the review articles. Once it is correct
build some internal link building inside your website. Google loves the inside links.
All these will take your website top of google.

    I'd suggest to build first.

Okay, well I know I want to build up more, but for amazon how do you add more traffic channels? I need some input on that I guess, right now over 70% of my traffic is google, the rest is WF, facebook, or direct

On-page first (I guess, building sites must also consider SEO)
off-page SEO should always after on-page. Also, you do not have to complete 50 pages at a time, and then leave it to do off-page SEO.
