Thinking About Getting Back Into This Game
Title says it all. I started researching IM when I graduated high school. I felt I was learning a lot, but in the long run I lost thousands of dollars buying crap WSOs and other various products. At first I didn't take action, but even when I started taking action I didn't see any sort of success. You name it, I've done it. SEO, PPC, PPV, Articles, etc. After a while, all I saw was the blind leading the blind, and the gurus selling worthless products that only appeared to be golden to their buyers.
Despite the setbacks that IM has caused me, I still believe it somehow is profitable. Call it a disease, I don't know.
Don't get me wrong, I did learn a lot. I learned how to setup wordpress sites in record time, how to use prosper like a boss, and some other things as well. Sadly, I could never make them profitable. I'd tried marketing those skills and failed because no one ever responded to my ads.
I was ALMOST successful with PPV. Almost. I had 1 campaign that was actually profiting. Then the offer got pulled. I tried countless campaigns after that only to lose many more thousands of dollars. I work nearly full time, and I feel I could have had a better chance gambling at the local Indian Casinos.
Where have I gone wrong? I so desperately want to make it work and be successful, but the other part of my mind says it's a complete scam that only the gurus can make money in.
As I type this sentence, I'm wondering what my point even is. I suppose it's a rant....no it's definitely a rant. How about this.... I need some people to shed some light for me. Is IM really a 'thing'? Or have I been played for a fool like thousands, if not millions of others?
