Help! Product launch screwed up - problem with FLV Producer

Hello,

I need someone to help me with converting and uploading a video.

I've done it many times before - this video has been working all night and early this morning... plan a product launch at 11am EST.

Suddenly video is delaying 1:43 seconds on website. WHAT????

The original video file is .MOD Used Aisee to convert to .wmv Used FLV Producer to convert to .flv

Again, worked fine until just an hour ago...

I'll gladly pay someone who can get my video running on my site.

    Hi Jill,

    Send me a link to your site and allow me to see if the video is actually
    running properly or not.

    Have you tried rebooting your system just in case it's not the video that
    has a problem but rather your system?

      Hi Michael,

      I already had a friend check this - it takes a while to buffer.

      The wierd thing is that it was working fine!!!

      Now, even when I re-converted, it's not working right, just in the FLV Producer.

      Bottom line - I guess I need a way to convert a .wmv file into a .flv - and get it to play on my site. I really don't wan to load it to YouTube.

      Hi Jill,

      Your video is playing fine in both Internet explorer and fire fox.

      You should reboot your computer then go to the link and attempt to watch
      the video again.

      I don't see any problem with it.

          Something must have happened during the conversion process.

    Hi Jill,

    It played well initially but stopped after about 1 minute for me. Can let me know the size of your FLV file after the conversion? I noted this is a 829 minutes clip.

      Keith, That would be awesome if you could do a temp hosting. Would you be able to create a player? The only way I know to do a player is thru FLV Producer.

    The standard version works reliably, makes smaller
    file-sizes, quicker loads, and better image quality
    than the free things which render to outdated FLV
    codecs.

    I've tested several things and while I often use about
    4 different programs before I get to the point of
    rendering in FLV - when I'm at that point I don't want
    to lose quality of have the bloated files the older
    codecs put out.

      I just converted to flv using O2 Technologies, as you suggested.

      However, I can't find the source code to add the player to my site?
      Can you tell me where I find that?

    I like the delivery though and as a vegetarian I perk
    up when I see stuff that validates the health benefits
    of my diet choices.

      I just wanted to say hello to a fellow vegetarian.

    You need a player for the FLV. You should be able to plug
    the On2 FLV right into your player, just replace the old
    FLV with the new one - over-write it on your hosting.


    You can get some cool free player-skins at
    AddOns | Skins | LongTail Video | Home of the JW Player

    I haven't used them though so I don't know if there
    are technical quirks with the player. I would stick
    with the one that you have so you don't create a player
    problem where you don't need one.

      Hi Jill,

      If you absolutely cannot get it to work on time, a fast bandaid solution for your launch is to upload your video to YouTube and then embed from there on to your page. YouTube automatically compacts your vid.

      It may not be ideal, but at least your vid will be available to visitors while you sort out the problem.

    Watched ur videos in firefox it loaded fine

    may be u must clear ur cache and temperory files rebbot ur system
    try in another browser
