Hey guys.

I am a rookie here.

A personal trainer/fitness professional by trade and trying to learn and understand all about internet marketing in order to make a positive impact in people's lives.

Please bare with my English as I am not a native speaker and have only 6 months ESL training

I am trying to learn the nuts and bolts of IM and about to relaunch my web site.

www.sampa.ca

Any feedback about what I currently have and suggestions on the new site are welcome - I will have a free report/squeeze page, free offer/squeeze page for a free assessment and offer online training off my new site. A podcast and blog will be included in the site as well

I am here basically trying to learn about IM therefore if you have treads or any other free reading that you suggest I would be more than happy to take a look.

Today I start reading Ed Dale's, The Challenge; thinking of joining Craig Ballantine's Early to rise but overall have an open mind and just want to know what works and how it works in order for me to be able to help as many people as I can using this great tool that is the internet.

Have a great day and Thank you so much for your help.

Welcome to the forum Hermogenes. The good thing is you already know your niche (health and fitness) and you've got a website up and going.

Building your email list should be your priority that way you can follow up with your leads and then recommend products (if that's what you want to do) and gain commissions from sales. I would start with Aweber, you can read more about it here

A report that I wrote called 101 Internet Marketing Tips will help to push you in the right direction. If you're interested send me a message and I'll send you the download link.

    Thanks for sharing.

When it comes to the nuts and bolts of IM, it all really boils down to mastering how to drive targeted traffic to your website, and then converting that targeted traffic into paying customers.

Since you already have a website up, you've got half the battle taken care of.

Now, put together your Top 10 keyword list and from there start creating content - writing articles and recording videos - that help people improve their lives.

You being a personal trainer, consider putting together 3-part video campaigns where your talk about a specifc topic within your niche.

For example, if you discover from your keyword research the people are searching for information on the "best home exercise routines", consider putting together a video series where you explaining some of the best exercises people can do from home.

The principles of business never change, whether you're online or offline.

As long as you focus on mastering traffic and conversions - something I learned to focus on after getting started in IM back in 2007 - you'll begin to see a lot of changes in your business.

You're hearts in the right place, which is a fantastic start.

Your website isnt have bad, well the look anyway. Make sure that each post you make is focusing on some sort of group of keywords. You need to optimize each post based on that-meta description, title tags, etc.

First, I would like to say that I am not some amazing authority on website quality - but I have a lot of experience on improving web content quality.

That being said, I think you have an awesome start

A tiny thing I noticed right away was an error in the caption underneath your picture. It's nothing big, it simply says "My goal is to help individual achieve permanent body transformation in a safe manner within their limits." I'm sure you mean "individuals."

Like I said, nothing big. Also, in the Bio section, you're missing a space between your periods and the start of your next sentence. Example: "...than participating in sports. At the age of 12 he decided..."

Although these are little things, they are the kind of mistakes that some people will silently judge you for. (Like ending a sentence with a preposition. Lol.)

Furthermore, strive to maintain a voice and stick with it: The caption under your picture on your landing page is written in active voice. But your bio is written in third person. Although neither one is technically "wrong" I would still advise changing your bio to active voice... "In 1998 he had the chance to move to Canada and he grabbed it." The passive voice in this section makes the above sentence awkward, as though someone else was watching you "grab" the opportunity to move, when actually this is all you.

I hope some of this helped, I wish I was more of an authority on web pages, but I only know content lol. Good luck, it looks like you're off to a great start!

If you want to go long term I would recommend a .com rather than .ca because you don't see much .ca ranked on the first pages of google. Dot coms also have more authority in he long run so I would recommend that.

Absolutely agree with this. If you can get a .com domain I would go for it. You can switch all the articles on to the new .com domain and build your site from there, or just start all over from scratch
