the thing that interests me really is the affiliate thing and blogging. email newsletter too i guess.

Well, you said you wanted to do blogging. In the past 35 minutes since you started this thread, you could have already registered with clickbank, and set up a blogger blog, and made an initial 300 word post with an affiliate link.

I'm a newbie also but Charles is right that you have to do something. It will probably be the wrong thing but then you gained some real knowledge. But it could also be the right thing.

Stop thinking and start working. First, start with a blog and you'll soon learn the tricks of the trade.

submitting ur articles to ezine articles etc

those were my early steps in making money online

The easiest way to start off is by an affiliate, because you just get the sales and deal with nothing else. So here are the steps I would follow...

Step 1
Go To ClickBank, or any CPA network, such as Commission Junction or ROI and sign up for their programs. CPA offers are great, because in some cases, all you have to do is get information off them, like their email adds to get paid! its great!

Step 2
Create a landing page; you can do this by getting a domain name, i.e. from godaddy and hosting it. If you are promoting through google, it is very google friendly to have a landing page. This is a page where you 'presell' the product you have chosen and redirect them through your affiliate link.

Step 3
Marketing: you need to start marketing, whether paid or unpaid; using articles, etc is a good tactic but you may see it takes time to see results. using google adwords is like the mother of advertising and you will see pretty much instant results because you are paying for targeted traffic.

Step 4
Get Paid! see what you did right and wrong! learn from your mistakes, that is the only way to learn! and tenfold what you did right to earn more!
