Best way to promote Amazon book?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone have any tips to promote an Amazon Kindle book...preferably for free?

My PHP Programming For Affiliate Marketers PHP Programming For Affiliate Marketers book is out today (and free for download at amazon.com today only).

I put in into the Kindle select program which lets you offer it for free up to 5 times, and the free-ness has certainly kick started things (I think the book's currently #3 at amazon UK and #1,814 at the main US amazon site)...

Anyone have any experience kickstarting an Amazon Kindle book?

    Get people to review your book...Friends,family etc... That is one way...Also I sell on Pubit and have good luck ....
