Best day of the Week to send Marketing Emails?

Hi Warriors

Do you think sending Marketing emails on specific days will help boost results?

Someone told me not to Send emails on weekends, Mondays and Fridays.

Definitely agree, dont send on a Monday or Friday. Best results on a Tuesday or Thursday.

  I agree. My thinking was like this or I was thought this.
  
  " Less activity on Weekends"
  " Mondays are Busy with Pending jobs"
  " Fridays are in a Hurry to close off"
  
  But when looking at IM folks we see that seldom they take weekend Holidays. Most are vigilant even on weekends.

  Really it comes down to your market (subscribers) and their habits. Are they mostly 9-5 people? Are they mostly retired? This stuff makes a huge difference!
  
  It also comes down to your offer, for example Payday loans generally convert best Mon-Wed because if you still need money after your paycheck on Friday, you are in a bad position for a full week until you get your next check. At least this is what I believe to be the reason.
  
  In general I don't think weekends are that great though.
  
  So your offer and your market will tell you what days to email out.

I find Tuesday seems to work best. Most folks are over their Monday-blues, plus people who only check their email semi-regularly still have the rest of the week to read their mail.

There is no science to this that I know of. But bounce rates seem to be lower on Tues-Wed too, so I'm not going to change what I'm doing.

after many test, we always found do not shoot them on weekend, people are out getting drunk, at church, spying on kids, at the country club, with their mistress on yaht...(err ok I am gettin sidetracked there LOL)

best was in da morning 8am , 9am on a TUES and or WED works very well.

That way it is the first thing they see when awake and checking the inbox.

TUES - WED outpulled the other days of the week by 400% for us. :-)

There is no correct answer to this but I send my emails out on sundays and tuesdays and majority of my list opens my emails. If you do a good job with the subject line and the send name then you're email will stand out and be opened no matter when you send it.

Every day is good for me.

I send emails when I am ready to send emails... I don't usually think twice about the day of the week it is. Besides, it is going to differ for every single market... and it's not just day of the week that matters but also time of day.

I will never understand why this stuff works.

I have been on these "lists" before and I just delete without reading 100% of the time. The person sending is not about you making "5K in just 2 hours" followed by a "I know I couldnt beleive it either". Haha. They are all the same.
