HELP - Looking for PAYMENT GATEWAY LIKE PLIMUS which offers API

I personally use 2CheckOut and they are really good to me. Though it is not free as Plimus.

If I use paytrace do people buy it with same confidence like they do for Paypal? Also does it have affiliate option?

I am still looking for a solution. Please respond if you know any such.

e-Junkie allows you to have affiliates and set up products with non-fixed prices.

Maybe what you're wanting is too complicated and something simpler will work just as well.

May be I was not clear enough while starting the thread regarding my requirements so here is my requirement again and I will edit my thread as well.

1. A payment gateway similar to PayPal where we can receive payments without creating products on the Payment Gateway site. We simply needs a payment gateway API. Does anyone know who or which company offer this?

2. Payment Gateway should also have the option of getting affiliates under us.

3. For affiliates instead of paying a commission I want to pay them a flat fees say for example like $30 USD irrespective of the sale they generate per sale. Reason for this is - The products which I am going to sell range between $50 to $250 but the profit margin for me is almost the same $40 for every sale so if I pay them on the basis of commission it will be a loss for me.So I want to pay affiliates a flat fees.

I would request someone to help.

Almost ALL serious payment gateways don't require you to use their shopping gateway. That is for totally newbies and only an option with almost all gateways. There are actually tow options:

1. Accept credit card on your site. Connect to gateway from server side API and charge the user. You require SSL, all security mechanisms on your side as well as your own server - shared hosting is okay, but not recommended. Advantage is that this is the most professional method, but only if you have the budget and capabilites.

2. Redirect user to gateway for payment. You can post some values including the amount and get some return values after payment. This is for sites with low technical capabilities and budget.

There are so many, 2checkout.com(they accept paypal as well), authorize.net and hundreds more. Compare the charges etc and reach a decision.

Affiliate payment is better handed at your end. Anyway you need to have an affiliate script installed and most of them will allow complete management, cancellations, payouts etc. Payment gateways arent supposed to do this and by making such a requirement, you are losing out on the best and cheapest gateways.

In Bluesnap (formerly Plimus) you have the option to work with an almost complete API which allows you to work without accessing your BlueSnap (payment gateways account). However it will require an initial setup that will take approximately 5 minutes.

When a customer pays through such an online payment gateway it needs to be associated to a product(s). When you're referring to Paypal you're referring to payment directly to you as a person, not as a company.
